The worst customer service I've ever experienced. As I walked up to the counter, there were two associates which neither greeted me and just looked at me while just standing there. They were not busy and seemed to not care I was there. Once the associate Kathy assisted me with an Amazon return, she had a poor attitude. I was returning an item that Amazon said no box nor label is required and to just drop it off. Mind you, this was not my first time returning an item of this size or shape, yet the association told me she could not process my return unless I purchased a box. I explained to her that I've never had to buy a box especially in this case. She then rudely said look at this we can't ship it like this and I was very confused because again I've done return at this location with no problems. She didn't seem to want to let me return the item and I had my toddler that was fussy and so I just purchased a $16 box. As she processed my other items the whole she seemed bothered and every item she just threw in a box with no regard to her manner of handling these items and how they will be sent back. At the end of my transaction she noticed I wasn't happy with her service and she said well you can always reach out to Amazon and have them refund you. First, the store manager was super helpful, went out of her way to help us out when we had to get a mailbox last minute. She even asked if we had AAA membership and offered a discount based on that without us asking, as we were ok paying full price just to get a box.
Location wise, it can't be beat! Being inside Safeway, we can pretty much pick up anytime we want. It is also bright and safe of course, and we can do it when we need groceries.
As for some of the negative comments, people should understand that this store is so so convenient that it is often busy, especially during lunch time or after work, and especially during holidays. Also, due to Covid, they were very short staffed, which caused long lines and understandably, frustration amongst customers who had waited.
Again, just understand the trade-offs. It is super convenient, but with that, there will be line during busy time.
As for us, we are super happy this store is here, and are happy to just work around...

Store hours show they close at 6:30 online but they actually close at 5:30 M-F. I was told that "they can't change the hours online - it's controlled by corporate" - Hey Corporate, where you at?! This was really inconvenient and the store clerk was not shy about expressing the annoyance of my arrival and questioning of the hours.
