According to rhe Census Bureau the median age in Boone and surrounding areas is between 22 and 33. Most likely, none of these folks has seen or heard of a Sears store let alone seen a Sears catalog. Growing up in the 50's and 60's in a lower middle class family with seven kids, I suspect that a lot of what we wore came from a Sears catalog. You could get just about anything from Sears--you could even order a house! That's kind of how the Food Hub operates. You can get all kinds of stuff in Boone, but for the "get anything" experience I recommend the weekend Farmer's Market or the weekly Food Hub offerings.
