Ombra is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the cozy, inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. The ambiance is chic yet comfortable, making it ideal for both a casual night out or a more intimate dinner.
Now onto the food—absolutely phenomenal! We started with the Grande Tagliare, a charcuterie board packed with a stunning array of imported meats and cheeses. The prosciutto was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and each cheese was paired with delightful accompaniments like house-made crostini and fig jam. This alone was worth the visit!
But it didn’t stop there. The Truffle Burrata was an absolute dream—creamy, indulgent, and paired with just the right touch of truffle to elevate the dish. Next, we indulged in some of the best crostini I’ve ever had. The Blueberry and Brie Crostini was a delightful blend of sweet and savory, while the Italian Sub Crostini took a classic sandwich concept and transformed it into a gourmet bite.
And as if the food wasn’t already top-notch, the service was just as impressive. Our waiter, Carlos, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, providing perfect recommendations and making us feel well taken care of throughout the night. His attentiveness and expertise truly enhanced the experience.
All in all, Ombra offers a perfect trifecta of incredible food, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service. Whether you're a fan of charcuterie, tapas, or craft cocktails, this place is an...
Read moreOmbra is a great spot for cocktails and small meals but the service is on the slower side. Very good drinks but takes about 10 mins to make a drink for 2 people. Anymore than 4 ppl to wait in the drinks could be 25-30 min. The last time I was here there different bartenders, and they were very friendly/attentive/social. Had an issue when I arrived with my gf Saturday at 9:45 pm closes at (12am) there were 2 bartends on staff with only 2 customers in the whole restaurant. We got menus and waters quickly. The one bartender behind the bar took off her apron and wouldn’t look at us. The other bartender who gave us the menus never came back to take our order. After waiting 15 minutes of waiting patiently with no communication or eye contact from the employees we departed. On the way out, we saw the bartender that gave us our menu hiding on the stairs on his phone. And that’s when I disappointed. I get that it was slow and they probably wanted to close early but they could’ve just told us they closing early. I would’ve been completely fine with that. But ignoring customers for 20 minutes while we were the only people in there. The water they gave us was the best drink I got from there that night. I’ll be back but just not with those...
Read moreGood drinks. Awful setup. Food and service worse than mid.
Had some small plates and drinks. Drinks are decent, but service was extremely slow and not paced properly. I didnt get my first drink until the food came out. Burrata was not fresh, had to forcibly cut through it. never had that experience before.
Was seated in the downstairs, which seems was designed around torturing patrons. Music loud in a cramped space with no acoustic panels, led to just massive reverb and noise and pain. The whole floor was just way way louder than it actualyl needed to be. The slow service of drinks could not dull the auditory nightmare. The tables are too high for how low the seats are. The tables are too small for the concept of the restaurant. The bench against the wall had such an off proportion that i had actual back pain the next day. It seems like someone just got random furniture to put together without actually measuring anything.
I really have a high tolerance for issues when going out. It has to go out of its way to make me write a review. its freakin amateur...
