Bayou Axe Throwing Co. — Restaurant in Bossier City

Our experience was terrible! We had reservations for 7:00 on 2/25/2023. We arrived on time but were told we would have to wait. By the time we were given a lane and shown how to throw the axes it was between 7:25-7:30. At 7:57, a gentleman came by our table and told us we had 3 minutes to vacate our lane. When we went to complain, the man at the counter never considered letting us finish our hour. He told us us that people were waiting. He was very rude and even threatened that he would have us removed. All we wanted was what we paid for. He eventually offered us free drinks. After we kept complaining he did say he would give a refund. I told him that he was very smug about the whole thing, and he rudely replied "Yes Mam, I am." When we went back to our table he walked by and said very 'snarkaly' "I hope you had fun". If you go there, I would definitely look at the time that you start and write it down and have the employee that is with you sign it. There is no formal timer at the lane, so apparently it is your word against theirs. Very rude and wasn't thinking anything about trying to cheat us. We went this past week for my husband's birthday. Went about 515 on a Wednesday. They didn't get busy till around 7. They had musical bingo that looked fun but we didn't participate because we were too busy throwing axes! They do give you some pointers but it can still be a little tricky. I didn't do well until they gave me a small all metal one that was sharp on more sides! Bingo! It was fun, kinda like darts with axes. There are different games you can play like zombies, duck hunt, tic tac toe, connect 4, etc. We made our reservations online for 2 hours. It said $40 pp for up to 5 people I believe and $35 pp for 6 or more but when we got there on the board only said $35, so it made me feel like I overpaid by booking online. Wow from walking in the door everyone was so helpful and made sure you understood everything it was our first time going and man was it fun and worth it. The staff went above and beyond the beautiful little woman behind the bar is fast never waited more than a few seconds for a drink wich was a little surprising as beautiful as she was I'm surprised there wasn't a line clear out the door just waiting to see her let alone the fun throwing the Axe we will definitely be back here. I just wish they would off passes or start a club membership to make it a little cheaper for the people that would want...
