The location in South Boston is perfect, right in the middle of everything, and somehow they found the only building in the area with a real parking lot. One of the managers was actually born and raised in Southie, so they probably knew the right neighborhood. Music in the lobby made the vibe awesome and the lady at the front desk was friendly and welcoming.
First interview was on zoom, but I'm glad the second one was in person, because I could feel the family atmosphere. I've been looking to work directly for a charity for awhile. I applied at the Ford Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates foundation and bunch of others, but hadn't found a position. The human resource team had also helped me with parking in the busy South Boston area with their own private lot.
