Honestly if I could give this nail salon no stars I would. I went to this nail salon for 2 years consistently because I work close by and I should have stopped going there a long time ago. I had many incidents here where they were rude and very patronizing. First when you walk in the customer service is awful and not welcoming at all, even being a regular there. If you have an appointment you still have to wait about 10 sometimes 15 minutes. On one occasion I was 8 months pregnant and I came on time for my scheduled appointment and had to wait, there was nowhere to sit and they didn't even bother to accommodate a seat for me. I waited on my feet/standing for about 15 minutes. I scheduled an appointment to get my lashes done, first appointment of the day and when I arrived the lash tech was not there so again I had to wait but this time I waited 30 minutes. When the lash tech arrived she was extremely upset and rude, don't know why. As she was doing my lashes the under tape was literally inside my eye lid irritating me so I mentioned this to her and she seemed bothered about it and stated "its supposed to be like that" rudely. Absolutely not! I have never had a lash tech literally put the tape inside my eye lids. The whole time she was on the phone while doing my lashing while hovering above my face. Unacceptable! That was the last time I ever went there for any service. Also there were many times where I witness them being rude to many other customers and will speak so badly about them when they leave. I also have coworkers that stopped going there because of similar situations. I don't recommend this...
Read moreI had been coming here consistently for over a year. Both Vivian and Van are really great nail techs. They pay close attention to detail, do a great job in a good amount of time and are very talented. My biggest complaint is that it’s very apparent that this business is run on a time constraint consistently. It’s apparent that it’s more about quantity than quality and the front desk woman makes it obvious. I normally always make a reservation but when I went back in because a nail broke completely in half two days after getting them done and I asked if I can get my nail fixed and a pedicure if possible and she said there was absolutely no time that day. I had checked that morning and didn’t make an appt because there was so many available time slots and since I was running errands all day I didn’t want to be late or miss it. I said I understand it’s busy but I was willing to wait for awhile even if it’s just for the one nail to be fixed. There was no option at all (this was at 12/1pm during a weekday which I found hard to believe there was nothing available for any nail tech the whole rest of the day). This made me leave and walk right next door and get taken right away even while busy. This honestly is the only nail salon I’ve ever been too that doesn’t really allow for walk ins. Especially when it’s for consistent customers it’s a bit disappointing.
It’s also always a different price every single time and I never understand the difference when I get the same type of...
Read moreI've heard great things about this place, unfortunately I think I just ended up with a technician who lacked training. I got a dip manicure with tips and it took over an hour and a half. I've gotten dip with extensions and a design in an hour, this was crazy. I had to ask multiple times to fix my shape (just square....) before the dip was put on and then the disaster began. I've never in my life seen 8 layers or dip powder applied, yet I got 2 thick base clear layers and SIX color layers. not to mention the left and right hand were done differently. my nails looked like duck nails and they were so thick and puffy even after she shaped them. thirty minutes of using the tiniest file and I asked to fix the shape because they were just still too thick. I felt bad it seemed like Loan was trying hard and said she got nervous because of the tips? i had to ask again to just make the shape a square and make it less thick and she finally went in with the drill instead of the tiny file... but slipped TWICE and got my skin with the drill and it hurt so much. I finally just said the shape was fine and hoped it would be over faster. Also I'm not sure if it's standard for dip but she didn't clean up any cuticles or anything either. I went home and took a nail file to them myself because they were honestly embarrassing. Again, I know this place has great potential and i just didn't luck out with who I got. Please make sure your techs are trained enough for the services...
