Beauty 101 — Local services in Boston

I was staying at the Westin Copley Place and needed a manicure during my trip to Boston. Eloise was able to fit me in the same day. She was kind and professional and gave me a regular mani (not gel) that has lasted eight days so far without a single chip! (The photo was taken at the seven day mark. Eloise uses Dazzle Dry polish for regular manicures, which is my absolute favorite system. The color is Cashmere Taupe.) I've been going to this salon regularly for almost 2 years now and visited 3 different nail technicians. I have yet to have a poor experience! I work in a lab so I need my nails not too long and sturdy. I get structural manis and gel-x extensions.

The environment is warm, inviting, and welcoming especially for women of color. The salon is clean, the materials are regularly sanitized, and the technicians are knowledgeable. I've had 0 issues with getting any design I come with. Communication is key and they're the best when explaining services and prices.
