Went in because left ankle was experiencing pain when I put pressure on my foot by walking. Got worse over 5days. Had old hardware from break 20+yrs ago. No medical Dr, no X-ray technician, just medical assistants & a nurse. Staff who signed me in also took my X-ray- nurse said no ā€˜fracture’ which I already knew & that the hardware looked fine. I asked for an ankle brace to get me to orthopedic tomorrow. A young man in street ware came into room with ankle brace & introduced himself as Med Asst manager, who came in to support staff that day. He was considerate & helpful as was Lauren (front desk & X-ray), Nakita (spelling?) took my blood pressure & wheeled me into X-ray room. All in all it was a good visit cause I got a solid ankle brace to get me through to someone who specializes in orthopedic.

Wow!!!!! I travel all the time and throughout the United States and this was the best experience ever. Obviously coming to urgent care isn’t a joy but when needed it’s a must. Let me tell you about Kate the PA! I have never felt so at ease while in pain in my life. She made my experience here a 10! She is very professional and knows what she is doing and I wish there were more Kate’s in the world. Run don’t walk here for care if you’re in the city and need to be looked at.

This was the best urgent care I was ever in. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. I had to go because I had a shooting persistent pain in my knee so Dr. Kearns and his staff took a look at it and took xray. I received a prescription and thankfully the CVS pharmacy was right next door. If I had to go to urgent care again I would choose this location.

I’ve never felt so unheard than my visit today here. The kind, friendly nurse before the doctor is not included in this at all. But, the doctor I saw after completely brushed me and my pain, which i said was a 7 out of 10, off. Not only did he complain about my nails and having to ā€œdo this the old fashioned wayā€ when getting my heart rate, but assumed because I’ve had utis in the past, that whatever my pain is had to be a uti. My sample came back clean though! What?! I told him I didn’t feel like myself and he just sighed and asked me classic concussion questions like who the president is and where I am, like I know that! I’m saying I don’t feel like myself and mess up simple tasks! He didn’t even bother to hear me out about my previous spleen pain (where the pain now is) because they don’t do ct scans (duh) and said it felt ā€œfineā€ and that he ā€œdoesn’t know how to help me there.ā€ They also said I didn’t have a fever, yet checked with two different thermometers as I left and had a 102° fever. The doctor decided the best course of action was to prescribe me an antibiotic (for the kidney infection I don’t have) and said it was ā€œup to me to take it or not.ā€ I said I take lots of antibiotics and was hoping he’d take more time to listen to my pain rather than assuming that because I’m a woman, the only pain I can feel is -there-. I asked if he thought I should take them since I’m symptom free and my sample was negative, and he said ā€œI prescribed it and that’s all I can doā€ and then walked out. Felt so unheard and uncomfortable and like I wasted my time and money and have ended up at the ER now, hours later, because my symptoms only worsened. Not to mention there was a literal avocado smeared on the floor like what? I’ve never left reviews and the front desk staff and nurse were SO kind, but the doctor was one of the worst experiences...

When you call on the phone to check for your insurance they won’t identify and they’ll give wrong information as ā€œyes we accept travel insuranceā€ when they don’t. And then cannot check for your travel insurance even though when I was in the reception and the receptionist was on the phone they gladly check for someone insurance on the phone. Didn’t accept my insurance told me that the nurses that answer the phone on the back have no much idea about anything and boy oh boy she was right. I go inside they want me to get tested for flu, covid, strep throat and mono and I ask for only be tested for strep and defensión results we go for there. They offer me to test me for flu for free so I go ahead and do it. They tell me to wait inside the room, the clinic call me on my phone 2 minutes later to tell me that they confused the test if I can come back, I say im right here and the woman keeps on insisting to swing by the clinic so I have to tell her again I’m inside the clinic I can hear you from the other side of the room. They test me for the right things this time and make wait on the lobby, when I woman that I haven’t seen tells me I am negative for everything and even thou I have my throat ver with severe inflammation they are only giving me some medicine but not antibiotics and she dismissed me. I leave the clinic and they call me again to discuss the results (that I have already given in the phone) the actual doctor that saw me tell me on the phone that what the other woman said was not right, that the medicine is for another thing and now actually gives me the directions of how to take the medication that were rather important. Don’t go there, they do not take your health seriously, or are an organized clinic and you pay a big buck for people to not even even know you are...

My daughter was just there last week as a college freshman in Boston far away from home. She has been ill for weeks and weeks, and has been to another urgent care facility and as well as this one 2 weeks prior to the recent visit. She told doctors she had congestion, fatigue, nausea on her last visit and vomiting-they told her it was just ā€œa stomach bugā€ giving her zofran. This past week, She told me that her chest was hurting very badly and she felt that something was wrong, so I told her to make an appointment here. I told her to explain that she has been sick for weeks and to insist on full exam and getting an x-ray. I’m extremely disappointed in her care. She told me after her visit, that Dr. Kearns was extremely short and abrupt with with her, did not seem to listen to her concerns. In fact, he told her within a few minutes of her visit that he would. ā€œrule out pneumoniaā€œ however she asked for the x-ray as I instructed and guess what? He came back and told her she actually had pneumonia. He did not tell her how long she may have had it or how severe it was, or ask her any questions about how she was feeling.Prescribed two antibiotics and pretty much left the room. He did not talk to her about the side effects of the medication, when to take the medication, give any other instructions for care or follow up in case she got worse. It is very upsetting to me as her mother so far away that this doctor and staff did not treat her with any empathy or compassion . As a parent, I expect the highest level of care for my child, these people should’ve done better! This is unacceptable. she will not be returning there, and I suggest you do not send your children...
