I did a bridal hair trial with Libby and ultimately decided to go in a different direction before signing any contract. Despite there being no agreement in place, she refused to return my deposit and tried to keep the money with no legal grounds to do so. To make matters worse, she retaliated against my wedding planner (who was simply helping me through the process & doing her job) by leaving her a 1-star review, even though she had nothing to do with the situation. Salon Hue is it for me. I’ve tried a bunch of salons around Boston, and nothing has come close. The space is beautiful, and the staff is not only talented but also super friendly and easy to talk to. I actually look forward to my appointments.

My hair is long, thick, and not the easiest to deal with, and I’m very particular about my highlights. Somehow, they always get it right. And the blowouts? Hands down the best I’ve had, smooth, shiny, and they actually last. The whole vibe is just really comfortable and relaxed....
