I started going to Malik last year in september. I remember being really nervous about cutting my hair, so I called Malik to schedule an appointment and he throughly walked me through ideas that I can do for my hair and what would work best. He made me feel much better about doing the cut. Once he did it I was so amazed ever since. I was nervous about keeping it natural or relaxed and he worked with me both ways and did not pressure me to say the style can only be relaxed (even though I did end up relaxing by choice). He is so thorough, friendly, REAL, affordable, funny, and overall a really amazing hair stylist. He listens to your hair and really is not just there for the money (which is hard to find these days). My hair has been growing like wildflower since coming to him, it’s been the most healthy, and I get such amazing compliments on my hair. I walk out of there feeling very good about my hair every time. I was getting quick weaves done by a previous stylist and my hair fell out to the point I had to cut my hair off and restart to grow it I was introduced to SBM Hair and Malik became my stylist Let me just say this man has blessed my hair tremendously to the point I went from quick weaves to sue in now, he has growing hair fingers, he really cares for his clients hair he cares about the products we use and what we shouldn’t use I really appreciate SBM Hair cause without Malik I was giving up but he brought my hair back to life. Brooooo!!!!!! Let me start off by saying this is the FIRST time in my life I ever left a hair salon and did not have to do a thing to touch up my hair. As a matter of fact I'm shook to touch it with fear that I'm going to mess up this art!! Malik is the truuuuuuth!!! He's super cool and funny as hell!! In my head I had no fear because all throughout the process he was gassing my hair up lol. I knew it was going to be 🔥 as soon as he held that mirror up to my face. I was not disappointed!!
