El Barrio Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Boston

I placed an order for delivery online with Grubhub and paid online. When the order was placed I received a confirmation email. I called an hour and a half later to check in and they told me the driver hadn’t arrived to pick up the food yet and they hoped he would be there within 15 minutes. I called 20 minutes later and was told the driver called out sick, so I asked if they could refund the money and was told that they could not. At 9:45pm over two hours after placing my order I had to go and pick up the food, because neither delivery nor a refund were options. When I got to the restaurant, the food was cold because it was sitting out for over two hours. I asked if they could remake it and was told the only way they would remake it is if I paid again. Instead of paying a second time for food I already paid for, plus tip and delivery fee, I took the cold food which had been sitting out for hours. When I got home the food tasted terrible, as if it had been sitting out for two hours even before I ordered it. I’m very disappointed because I’ve ordered from this restaurant in the past and had pretty good experiences, but the customer service was terrible tonight and no restaurant should ever serve food that has been sitting...

Ordered some tacos off of GrubHub and specifically stated on my order that my tacos should have "no onions, no radish" which was printed on the receipt. When I get the tacos, there are both onions and radishes. Furthermore, on their online menu, the picture shows two tacos. That picture, combined with a price of $4.49, which is about the price of two tacos, led me to believe I was ordering 2 tacos per order. I then ordered 2 orders, of seemingly two tacos each, giving me a total of 4 tacos. When my order arrived, to my surprise, I had only 2 tacos, both with radish and onions on them. For these two tacos, that were incorrectly delivered, I paid $8.98 which is why I am leaving a rating of 3 stars. I'm assuming and hoping that this was a one time mistake, however, I really wanted some tacos and it kind of ruined my night. Food is very fresh and tasty. The restaurant is extremely clean. They have to work on their phone situation though. There has been at least a 20 times where I’ve called for over 30 minutes straight, back to back to back, and it’s just busy. I ended up driving there the last time and the phone was of the hook! It’s a cordless and she forgot to hang it up. Many many other times I’ve been placed on hold for anywhere for 5 to 7 minutes while she helps customers in line and then it’s like they forget you. Just take my order. It’ll take 1 minute!! other places seem to juggle phone calls and customers at the same time, c’mon. They must loose a lot of business cuz of this. I can’t be the only regular customer dealing with this. But yet I continue to go cuz the food is good
