I stopped here while walking back to my car after a wonderful meal at Uni to pick up a bottle of wine. But I didn't see what I wanted and there was no one to help me figure out if they had what I was looking for so I left shortly after entering the store without even touching a bottle of wine. As I'm walking down the public sidewalk I hear someone saying something to me and turn around and it's someone from the liquor store loudly saying I have to go back to the store because I didn't pay for the bottle of wine I took. I’m a black woman and was very upset when I was accused on a public sidewalk of having stolen something from the store. I returned to the store and put my jacket purse etc on the counter and said show me (they had at least 10 video cameras) where you see me touch let alone take anything from the store. They couldn't because I had touched nothing and they said "sorry" we made a mistake. They had no basis for chasing after me and accusing me of stealing a bottle of wine from the store other than saying I left the store quickly and they mistook my phone (which I was using to find my way back to my car) as a bottle of wine! I then told them that "sorry" wasn't good enough. I ultimately called the owner of the store and said if they were going to publicly accuse me of being a thief they needed to also publicly state that they falsely accused me of stealing from their store which they did. We then stopped a group of people walking down the street and the person who very publicly and falsely accused me of stealing explained they had falsely accused me. Will never go back to this store and don’t recommend...

I presented my ID to them, which was a valid vertical Massachusetts JOL. These licenses are issued to those under 18. I never bothered to update mine to a standard horizontal license since it was still a valid form of identification.
They told me it was a fake after scanning it. I assume these scanners only work on standard horizontal licenses. They refused to give it back to me unless I presented a picture of a different valid ID, else they would call the police.
Although the situation was resolved peacefully when I provided a picture of my passport, I do NOT appreciate how the clerk quite confidently said "it's a fake" and suggested I was trying to buy alcohol underage. I remained civil and cooperative during the entire ordeal.
I understand that the business is doing its due diligence to prevent people from illegally buying alcohol underage, but this could have been resolved in a much more respectful manner without assuming my guilt.
How about saying, "unfortunately this ID is showing up as invalid. As part of company policy we want to ensure that you're not a minor. Can you provide another form of ID? If not, we can call a police officer to help verify your age," instead?
Needless to say, they have lost...

The location is newly remodeled and has a sharp layout and selection. From soju to single malts or a sangiovese to go with your pizza, you’ll find something engaging on their shelves.
They also have a DEEP selection of craft beer, along with the house favorites you’d expect to find.
There’s even a couple of doors of snacks, including some quality cheeses and ice cream!
This store is head and shoulders above the rest, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
And if you’re around on Fridays, they have wine tastings from 5-8pm & have made some great recommendations!
A solid spot for old favorites and discovering some new ones. ...
