this place is ridiculous and the people are so rude. I had an appointment scheduled and when I checked in, I selected the option to be sent a text. I was waiting in my car 6ft away from the door. At one point, I walked in and saw my name as the 3rd one. so I went back outside and stood RIGHT BY THE DOOR. when I didn't get a text after another 10 min, I went back in and saw my name was no longer listed. when one of the employees came out to call another patient, I told her I was waiting and never received a text. she said "I don't know who called you" and closed the door on my face. there were no more appointments available so I put my name on the stand by list. been waiting for 1.75 hours since my appointment time and still haven't been called in. why even offer a service if you aren't going to use it? as a customer service training professional, these people need some serious training on basic empathy and human interactions I feel like 1 star might even be too much for this place but google won't let me put anything less.
addition: so after placing my name back on the standby list, I stood in the vestibule to keep an eye outside but also be able to hear my name. after another 15 min, my name was never called and there was no longer anyone in the waiting room and my name was no longer on the list. I asked another worker and all she said was that I was called. I asked about the stand by list and she said she didn't know. so I readded myself to the standby list, propped open the middle door and stood by the main door. the manager came screaming out and said if I wanted to be seen I needed to stay inside. I said that if they offer the service to wait outside, they should use it. if they aren't going to use it, they shouldn't offer it. the reason I needed to stand outside is because my emotional support dog was in the car and he worries if he loses sight of me for too long. I've now been waiting inside for another 15 minutes with no one else coming into the lab as retaliation. yet another bad customer...
Read moreIt started with the original phlebotomist. I told her that my veins were difficult to find and told her where others have found it. I also told her not to fish for the vein before she even started. She went to the opposite arm and started twisting the needle. I asked her again not to do this. She stopped and ran out of the room in a huff to someone else. I heard her tell the other woman that came in that I was ";complaining already";. I asked this other woman if she was the vein charmer. She acted extremely annoyed with me, accused me of being "undercover rude";,and tried REFUSING service telling me that I wasn't letting them do their job! Then she stuck the needle in MY WRIST out of spite saying ";I know this is uncomfortable, but..."; She didn't even TRY looking for the veins in my arm or even check for my pulse in my wrist first. My wrist hurt for HOURS afterwards. What did the first woman want me to do? Throw up on her? That's where her fishing was headed. The second woman curtly pointed out the garbage can next to me. I'm 52 years old. I have't made it into a garbage can or toilet yet without a huge mess that includes projectiles. These women should be ashamed of theirselves treating a patient like this. Both these women have the ABSOLUTE POOREST bedside manner of any healthcare professional I have ever seen. They both need reeducation like they were newbies in the field on how to take someone's blood. No. I would NOT recommend your service to anyone based on this visit. IN FACT, I am telling everyone I meet about my horrible experience with you that was...
Read moreI've used this location several times. It's clean and usually efficient. My recent experience gave me a lot of concerns. I explained that I'm a hard stick before we got started. My phlebotomist planned to draw in a spot that no one ever gets blood from- I asked him to keep looking and he told me not to worry about it. He wasn't successful, and he did not speak to me again. He called in another tech, who, after cleaning my arm, spent about 2 minutes touching it to look for a vein. He then went to draw blood and I had to ask him to stop and clean the site again, since he'd been touching it. He argues back that it was clean and tried to draw my blood. He wiggled the needle back and forth for about 45 seconds until I was visably uncomfortable with the attempt. He also was unsuccessful. I get sent to a different technician in a different room. She listens to the input I have about which veins usually work. She puts a hot pack on my hand and I dangle it for a few minutes. That makes one vein pop out which she successfully gets blood from. While she is working, I can hear my first technician teasing a new phlebotomist that's she's up next if my current phlebotomist fails. She is pleading that she's not ready for a hard stick, and he's chuckeling, while telling her "you're up- those are the rules". I wish I had the name of the 3d technician, so I could specifically request her moving forward, but honestly, after that experience, I probably won't use this...
