Bagel Bazaar of Bound Brook — Restaurant in Bound Brook

Unfortunately I have to stop coming here. Speaking from experience, they care way more about the appearance of the place (trying to make it look like a gourmet cafe or something) than they do the efficiency and accuracy of the kitchen and the freshness and quality of the food. I’ve tried to stick with them during the transition from Bagel Stadium to Bagel Bazaar. Our order has been wrong more times than it’s been right. They always give free stuff if they make a mistake but it doesn’t fix the inconvenience. But yesterday was really what sent me over the edge. It was 8:30 on a Saturday, I called to place my order, was put on hold for a solid 5 minutes. I figured they were busy and I’d just drive over to see what the line was like. There was NO line. I asked how long for a BEC, he said there was nothing else on the grill so just a few min. I’m not trying to be a Karen, I get that sometimes you have to put people on hold, but after 1-2 years of trying to be patient while they get their sh*t together and transition to a new owner, and they’re not even busy on a Saturday morning but I’m put on hold for 5 minutes, drive over there inside, pay $8 for a BEC on a plain bagel, and then I get my sandwich and the bagel is tough and the bacon tastes burnt, and it’s just not a good sandwich, like I’m just over it… I’m taking my business...

Great bagels, Excellent coffee with lots of options for creamers, whole milk, almond milk, etc. Nice variety of sugar substitutes as well... and the variety of bagels is great. Try the "Everything Egg" bagel. One of my favorites and very tasty with cream cheese and chive topping. Slice it, toast it, they have plenty of other bagel options and toppings too. Small place that's often busy but they really work fast to get orders ready. Make sure you get the correct # order though. I've had errors occur which is frustrating when not recognized until you get to where you're going! Lol... but the management is very easy going and proactive on making things right for you. They gained my trust back after a mix up and that's something these days given the current way things are going here in the USA. Stop in and give em your business. Their prices overall seem relatively fair. You'll be glad you discovered this local Gem and it will become one of your regular stops.... especially...

This place has really gone down hill with the newest owners. The main guy with glasses at register is usually nice but one of the vools tool my order. Very rushed and unfriendly. He tried to mess with my points and then threw away my receipt so I had to ask him for it again. He didn't create a good experience. Then the other cook whike wearing his gloves was touching and on his phone before he made my food. I'm not coming back after coming for years. The cook at the registered also messed up. My points did not ask me for my number. When I ask to do the points he ran up a single bagel instead of the $15 order I placed. I would really say unless you're a police officer whom they tend 2. To treat special because they all come in groups there.I wouldn't even go and...
