Bountiful Antiques — Local services in Bountiful

I have visited this shop a few times over the years, and after this afternoon’s experience I thought I’d leave a review.

As a collector of niche (and oftentimes weird) antiques, I find myself digging through a lot of different places. I decided to stop into the antique shop today because I was in the neighborhood and hadn’t been in in some years time.

The owner was cordial at the door, and was interested in helping me find what I was interested in and looking for, admittedly it’s a jumble in there so he didn’t fully know where everything could be found, but I was appreciative of his willingness to help.

There’s stuff everywhere. Some see it as too much, as a treasure hunter willing to dig a bit it didn’t scare me away. I saw it as some serious potential, and definitely came away with some really great finds.

The owner was more than willing to let me take a look at more than a few items behind the counter, and in doing so helped me discover a one of a kind find I wouldn’t have seen otherwise.

As an infrequent customer over the years, I have noticed a huge improvement in the service and attitude in the customer service at Bountiful Antiques. If you’re not afraid to spend some time looking around (and I do mean around, up, down, underneath, and above) you’d be surprised what may be waiting to be found! First time going in yesterday. They had a lot of stuff! Which I thought was great since it gave me more options to look at. Their are two floors both which have many unique items. Yes it is a bit small but at least for me what matters is that there were many items to go through. Its not the prettiest antique shop..but hey...you're im search of something different anyways arent you? I also met the owner. He explained a piece I was looking at honestly he was pretty cool and just laid back. I think its worth a shot to go by and see the place for your self. Reading from other reviews...in my opinion...i did not smell anything weird...the owner was not rude or mean spirited..the store isnt sketchy ...like at all..its on the corner of very open roads in centerville...yes its a small store..yes it has al lot of stuff! Try the place for yourself so you can get an opinion yourself! Hopefully you will find items that you need just...

They have some interesting stuff here, but nothing that I was interested in buying. Also the atmosphere was frankly creepy. I brought a friend I love going antiquing/thrifting with and she agreed something felt off so we ended up leaving. Maybe the place just needs some friendly soft music in the background to help?? Also the shop keeper was watching us really intensely? Not sure if he thought we were going to steal...
