Collington Plaza — Local services in Bowie

I recently visited Collington Plaza, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of shops and services available. This shopping center offers a great mix of stores, making it a convenient stop for all my needs.

The layout of Collington Plaza is easy to navigate, with plenty of parking available. I appreciated how accessible everything was, from grocery stores to retail shops. It’s a great place to grab essentials or do some leisurely shopping.

I also enjoyed the dining options in the plaza. There are several restaurants and cafes where you can grab a bite to eat, whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a sit-down meal. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, making it a nice spot to relax after shopping.

Additionally, I found the staff at the various stores to be helpful and welcoming, which added to the overall pleasant experience.

Got a good parking space. Went to Getty's Island for lunch. They had the lunch menu on the board. We found out when paying for our food that the lunch specials are only in effect Mon thru Fri. No where on the board did it mention days and times this was effective. I felt they should have honored what the board stated and charged us that price instead of the full price. Looked uneasy and unsure of himself when explaining the days and hours. There was a 20 min wait in the rice and peas. We said we would wait. Our order came up in 10 mins. When asked did we get the rice and peas he said no he gave us white rice instead! Won't be back...

I just like this place. Three great pluses here Giant, 7-11 and Walmart. The Chicken Brasso place is good. The Advance (at least you can get oil and antifreeze and a really friendly lady) is here. Have not tried the others. The Giant is well lit, friendly and disabled people accessible. If major shopping, check the meat section first.
