I bought this battery in 2/2025 install 2 weeks after i made sure it was charge. Took the bike for a ride about 45mins into the ride the bike cut off. I had it towed back home. A cost to me $225.00 I was 38 miles away from home. Check the battery gauge on it showed red. I check me charging system. It check out ok. Took the battery back to battery-plus. They said it need to be charge - they change it fee 20.00. Install the battery back. My 2nd ride out with the green battery from them. 35 miles into the ride it cut off again Man. I had the bike towed to the cycle shop they check it out and found the battery going bad. Would not hold a 13.2 t0 14.5 of charging. Slowly charge would go down to below 6.5. after about 20 mins. With 14.5 volts going into it. They check my charge system side it was ok and install the black battery you see in the picture from them. Never had any more problems 242 miles on the new battery, I took the battery back they check it out. Said nothing wrong with it.. Would not exchange it or give my money back. $129 battery... This was a very costly experience service shop total with battery $216 + $225 + $20 + $129.00 = $590.00. Stuck with battery I can't use. 3 years warranty. I have bought a few battery from batteries plus from the shop in Kettering MD they was closed 1st time in the bowie shop. The battery with 12v on it is batteries plus. I had in another bike. This battery works ok to in the bike. This is what the shop told me who check the bike - The battery must hold approx 13.2 volts . If the battery is less than 12.8 volts it is either on the way out or defective . When the motor is running the voltage should be approx 14.2 volts...

I found the items pricey, but, wishing to support his local business, I bought six UPS batteries from Peter. No discount was offered. Second visit managed to persuade (another) salesperson that charging me extra for a pair of adaptors one purchased battery was probably not a good idea... Third visit to exchange the adaptors and buy another battery. 'Being grateful to exchange the contacts for the right ones, I encouraged another elderly customer to go ahead of me and witnessed a much warmer welcome, followed by an immediate and unsolicited offer of a 10% discount to him for his minor purchase! Then, after a short discussion he said he could not identify the battery I needed from UPS model and cell pictures I had with me. I later found it in seconds on my phone, so a sale was lost. Read moreI went to batteries plus last spring and never got around to writing a review, but want to take the time out to shout out the store owners Peter and his wife. I was trying to get in and out before work to get a spare key before work which they were able to do, for a price that was affordable in comparison to other places I had been quoted at. While we we're waiting his wife was very hospitable, and we chatted a bit while the service was completed. I also mentioned my key fob wasn't working which I had been meaning to get looked at. He was able to quickly check it out and see that the chip or whatever was inside (i'm not a car person) was slightly dislodged.
