So excited to have discovered United Furniture in Bowie Town Center. I visit last week and was greeted by Tareq, who guided me through the warehouse and shared that they recently opened. I saw a few bedroom collections that I was interested in and assured him I'd be back. Before I left I was introduced to Samar Oweis who was also pleasant and professional. I felt at home and assured them that id be back with my husband. Tareq followed up with a text the following day and I advised that I will come soon. I returned to the warehouse with my husband and was so relieved to see Tareq who gave us details on the dimensions of the furniture we were interested in. We were able to secure a bedroom set, mattress and foundation and also get a credit limit to purchase all items today. I went w/ my nephew who was looking for a complete living room set. I saw a leather sofa I wanted to purchase for myself. The salesperson was friendly but everything changed when a manager came to talk with us. I only wanted the leather sofa. I was told because it was discontinued, I had to purchase both the sofa & the love seat together. I didn't NEED a love seat! She left to see what could be done. Totally disappeared for over 10 minutes. Never came back to speak with me again. We both walked. They lost an "easy" sale. I felt sorry for the salesperson who lost out on his commission due to management. Will take my business elsewhere. P.S. My nephew ended up purchasing his living room set from another store in Bowie! :)
