Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Bowling Green

The only reason there is 1 star is because I had to give a star to type out a review. My fiance' and I are getting married 05/14/2022, so I went in LAST WEEK and scheduled our 3 boys and my fiance' all separate appointments to get them fitted for rental suits, as once we saw the price they were charging to buy a suit, there was no way we were paying that. Anyway, we walk into the store and there were probably at least 7 or more employees walking around the store that never once acknowledged us and asked if we needed help or anything. There was a sign-in sheet at the front door with no pen to sign in. I will say the salesman were with customers from what I saw, but all it would have taken would have been for ONE person to say we will have someone right with you, especially if they knew they had appointments coming in. They just lost 4 expensive sales based on a lack of customer service or just common courtesy. My fiance' went to Giorgio's yesterday and was fitted and bought exactly what he wanted for a price he would've paid for a rental at Men's Warehouse, all within less than an hour, and he was greeted as soon as he walked in the store. I just called and spoke with a very nice gentlemen at Giorgio's to make sure I didn't need to schedule appointments for our 3 boys to take them Saturday to get them fitted and he said it would be no problem at all. Skip Men's Warehouse altogether and just go to Giorgio's from the beginning. I have never been in a place of business attempting to sell a product and not acknowledge customers with appointments. That will be the last time I step my foot in that store. I'm not sure if they need different management or more customer service training, but something is...

Could be more efficient and organized

I went into Men's Warehouse to get new dress clothes for work. When I went in, they had a good deal on dress shirts and pants. I purchased three shirts and two pants. The intial tailoring was to heam up the bottom of the pants. That was my first visit.

On my second visit, I went to try on pants and decided I wanted a tighter fit around the calf area. They got the tailor to perform the proper measurements and I left one pair of pants with them.

It took more than two weeks until I called myself to ask about the status of my pants. They were ready but I never received an email.. I went back in for my third visit. I tried on the pants and they were not as tight as I had hoped. They honestly we're not that much different from when I left them. Unfortunately I could not get them tailored because the tailor left at 6pm.

I went in for the fourth time later that week to get my pants tailored correctly and the tailor had left 2 hours early.. So there was another wasted visit.

UPDATE:

I went in for my fifth visit to get my tax pants. They turned out to look great! The tailor did a good job!

This has not been a pleasant experience. The communication seemed to lack. The organization is obviously flawed with no second email being sent out and confusion about my situation. I really like this type of establishment, just wish it would be more efficient. All in all, I have had five visits, more than 3 hours total, and over 2 months.

SUGGESTIONS:

I would like to see some type of scheduling service for the tailor. I would also like some system that helps to keep notes about every customer that why they don't have to go over their situation...

Over the last 6 months I have worked with the staff at Men's Warehouse 3 times. The first was for my brothers wedding that I needed to be fitted for a tux. They took the time to get all of my measurements and answered some questions I had. The wedding was in another state so they setup my pickup for the store location there so I didn't have to worry about transporting it.

The second time was a couple weeks ago, I wanted to buy a suit and I wasn't sure what size jacket I needed. I called the store to see if they could look up the size that they fitted me for previously, and after a few minutes of searching they tracked down my last measurement and gave it to me.

The third time was yesterday, I needed a belt that matched a pair of brown shoes I bought for the suit I mentioned in the last paragraph. I took in a picture of the shoes (that I know is an exact match to what they look like in person), and asked if they could help. Within 5 minutes I had a belt picked out that was as close to a perfect match as you can get, and they found me the right size for my waist.

I love working with this store and I look forward to working with them again...
