Why a 2 star review? Glad you asked. First of all I haven’t eaten at this location in almost 2 years for the exact reason I’m reviewing. Why did I go back? Had a gift card and was hungry. Ordered a Flo’s Filet medium well with parmesan crust. Asked waitress if whomever was on the grill knew what they were doing, she said yes night shift had just came on. Let her know I’m one of the diners that have history of getting steak that’s wrong. Waitress was very attentive an on top of our drinks and bread. I have no complaints about her. Steak came out and cut into it and myoglobin ran out into the plate, not oozed but ran out, steak was more med rare than medium in terms of color and temperature. Waitress asked if everything came out right I said no and showed her, she notified manager on duty. While waiting other members in party finished their food and had already boxed up to go. Finally female manager came to table with smart ass attitude educating me that it’s not blood but yet it’s myoglobin. Thanks for the lesson lady! She said could put in back on the grill I said no for one steaks don’t taste right after going back on grill and had melted Parmesan cheese on it. Everyone else had eaten and was ready. Manager walked of as she said she’d see what she could do. She did take my steak off ticket. I did indeed give the waitress over a 80% tip as she did her job. It gets old to go to these sit down restaurants and order food the way you want it and get it however they decide to send it. They still charge the same price no matter the quality, these chains should provide the product of which you are paying for. I watched 3 other steaks get taken back to the kitchen while we were waiting for our food. I highly suggest that you take crayons and paper in so as you can color the cooks a picture of how you want your steak cooked and an extra coloring book for the shift manager so as she can stay away from the patrons or take her a broom to sweep the nasty floors. Being busy isn’t a reason it’s a reflection of poor management

I had just spent an entire day traveling working and was exhausted and starving. I hadn't eaten that day. I was seated immediately, yet I was not greeted for over 20 minutes. I had to ask the hostess if I was in the right area even though she did sit me there. Little bit later, a lot of harried people running around a gal came over, apologized, and took my order. She was very nice. When she came back to check on the food It wasn't how I asked it to be cooked and she could see that, but whatever I just ate it because I was so hungry. And she said I'll get you right and I said Don't worry about it. She returned with a whole other plate of food—a steak & potato. I had already eaten, was traveling, and could not access a refrigerator. They didn't charge me for anything. And I didn't even complain about any of it to warrant this consideration. That blew me away, I gave the waitress a $ 20 bill; I thanked her and took the food, which was a whole steak and potato and I drove around an unfamiliar town trying to see if I could find someone who was down on their luck and needed a hot meal. I found a guy, and hopefully, he enjoyed it. I don't know how it was eaten without a steak knife, but I'm sure he figured it out, so all in all, it was a blessing. Because someone got a free meal, including myself.

Ok I am going to be totally honest here so read to the end. We stop in Bowling green as halfway overnight stay for our drive to Florida several times a year. Usually we go to other favorite places but we decided to try something else. My wife and I orderd a 20 oz ribeye, lobster/shrimp chowder, side salad and broccoli. Also a couple of drinks. We shared everything between us. First the salad, I wish I would have asked to get the dressing on the side. Half the bowl was filled with dressing and it drowned the salad. Salad was good and dressing was ok but way too much dressing. Then the chowder. It was just ok but you have to know we are comparing to some of the most awesome chowder around in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida so to be fair you cannot compare. We wouldn't order it again. The steak was awesome! Cooked to perfection medium as we ordered. Nice juicy steak we really enjoyed. The broccoli was also excellent. Oh and to say the drinks were good too. This place will be one of our favorites now and when hankering a good steak we will be going here

The daytime fat bartender is rude and stupid I come here for lunch everyday and now she’s telling me she never seen my id ok so why have u been serving me alcoholic drinks for the past week she never pays any attention to anything and takes forever to give the check she’s too busy in the back eating customers throw away food I have watched it I really had to go all the way home for an ID I have given her multiple times but she be pays any attention to the customers once she goes in the back she’s gone talking to co workers and eating I ask for a to go box and the check and she disappears after giving it to me like I don’t have any where to be there’s a reason I asked for the check and how do u serve me alcoholic beverages everyday then tell me u need my id … I just can’t w her service it’s so bad I even wrote on the tip line she needs to pay more attention to her customers and less to the staff won’t be going here anymore All the money I have spent there I have emailed corporate w details of what just happened and I hope they do well on rectifying the situation I was bullied from the moment I walked in I was told “I have an issue “ and my id was slammed down in my face I was yelled at asked WHY DO U COME HERE when all I asked is if she can please check my id before she offered me a drink …as a paying customer and someone in customer service I know for a fact I was handled extremely innaproproatly and for the sake of of the rest of the returning customers that bartender and manager need to find a new job also when I was walking out 2 other customers approached me stating they paid 22.00 for a steak w hair on It and didn’t get compensated I advised that customer that a week ago my BF ate w whole plate and found hair on the plate under his broccoli and they gave him 20 percent off (diff manager she was very nice ) it just seems like u have to go at certain times bc the customer service is not up to par when that bartender and manager that were there today are on shift ..they care more about having each others back then taking care of customers chit chatting and eating food and I was so mortified today that I might just file a lawsuit for the harassment ans bullying bc the camera footage and what I recorded say it all !!! Never going Back again unless they get fired longhorn can do way better I’ve been a food blogger for a decade and never dealt...

This evening my family visited the Longhorn restaurant in Bowling Green Ky. We came into the restaurant. After being sat down we realized the ceiling was leaking and dripping on my wife. The waitress gave a very generic answer about the condition of the a/c but did not offer to move us (later found out it was due to the, managing partner told us at the end of the evening). Upon ordering food, I requested chili with no cheese. My first bowl came with cheese so I politely sent it back due to a food condition. Well the second bowl I received proceeded to to have a very long black hair in it(I apologize for not having a picture). Well as the waitress came back she offered to get another item, dessert, etc. And would tell the manager. I opted for the key lime pie and was okay with how she handled it. No manager showed up. Well as the food came out, we received 2 steaks ordered medium that came out well done, and a well done steak that was burnt. 4 orders of fries also were cold and limp. The waitress offered to get the manager. He talked to the children at the end of the table(not us) and left not addressing the issue. Well 2 hrs of wait time later we finally had the managing partner come to the table. He did not address the problem properly only taking a few dollars of the bill. When we ask him about why he didnt address the table and only the children (15 to 18) instead of the 25 to 40 yr old adults he said he addressed the whole table. It was two joined tables with 5 kids on one end, and 4 adults on the other. He only spoke quietly to the children. He then he insinuated we were displeased he only took a few dollars off. This was not the case, rather he didnt handle the problem of hair in the food, poor food, etc. He said he would send us home with dessert to make it right. We were disgruntled and proceeded to leave before we became ugly because he was very disgenious and...
