I have recently decided to update my wardrobe. Belk clothing and others like it has never been my style. But I figured why not try something new. I bought a sweater from there and done in-store pickup. I picked it up and tried it on it the car. There were 3 holes in it so I took it back for a refund. The next day I ordered the same sweater online to avoid rebuying the sweater I just returned in the store. 9 days I waited for my sweater to arrive. No biggy. It's close to Christmas. What upsets me is, the sweater I purchased online was shipped from the Bowling Green Belk. The same store that sold me the sweater with holes in it. I opened my package to see that they sent me THE SAME SWEATER I JUST RETURNED LESS THAN A WEEK AGO! I live less than 5 minutes from Belk. Why did it take 9 days for Belk in Bowling Green to ship my order when I pretty much live across the street? I ordered things from states away and got my packages quicker. I'm so annoyed that they sent me the sweater I had just returned. Why didn't the person that took my return put the defective sweater in a different pile? Why was it hung back up on the rack just to be sent back to me? I told her 3 times it had holes. Immediately after opening the package and seeing the holes I went to Belk to return the same sweater for second time. I explained to the cashier (different cashier than the first time) about what happened. She apologized even though it wasn't her fault. And made sure to not let it go back on the rack. Read moreI'm very disappointed. I paid off my belk account, almost 1k. A week later, I went in to use the $10 birthday coupon I'd received. Only to get told my card was inactive?! I had used my card 2 weeks earlier and paid the balance in full 1 week before. I spoke with a man on the phone, confused as to how my card was inactive? He was rude and indifferent. Stating he had no idea. He saw the recent activities and payment. But said I'd have to reapply. I said, "Just cancel the card." He sounded very happy to cancel my belk card but not help me find out why it was suddenly inactive. When I got off the phone, the belk employee said I was the 2nd customer that exact same thing happened...
