I went to pick up my moms engagement ring today that a stone fell out of and was being repaired. We saw it and immediately realized how sloppily they sautered it. The sautering was covering the diamond. My husband told the saleslady Lillian and she argued with him about how there were no prongs and how she couldn't even see the sautering, what was wrong with it or how he even knew which diamond was the one that fell out. She then looked at him and asked rudely "Do you work in the jewelry business?" The way she said it sounded more like "Do you even know what you're talking about?" My husband got so pissed he had to walk away. I then had to point out a few more times which diamond was messed up because apparently she couldn't tell by looking. We left and I felt uncomfortable about having her be the one that handles my ring because we had fo explain to her multiple times what was wrong and she wasn't getting it. So we went back and I asked to speak to the manager. She got on the phone to call the manager and in front of us proceeded to say "Yea it's the same customers. They left and then came back." This doesn't read bad but it was the rudest tone, like we were bothering them and she was so annoyed with us. I looked at my husband because I was trying not to lose my cool. She came over and was like take a breath and relax. I looked at her and in the calmest voice I could told her that she was being rude. She said "How so?" I told her that her rudely asking if my husband was in the jewelry business was mean and how she talked to her manager about us in front of was rude. All she said was that she was just calling her manager. She did not apologize or seem like she cared. So the manager of jewelry came over and she was very nice. She looked at the ring and immediately saw the problem and told us she would send it back and have it fixed. She told us that Lillian would take care of it which made me nervous. So we left and I was steaming because of the way that this associate had treated us. I called once we left and spoke to the assistant manager Loraine who was so so nice. I explained the situation and she apologized and told me that she would have the manager send in my ring personally which made me feel better because I honestly dont want my ring in the hands of Lillian. I needed professional headshots for work, I chose JC Pennys because I know they have been doing professional portraits for a long time. The photographer was very sweet and did her best. However, I paid $101 for 3 high resolution photos. The 3 I was sent through email to download looked super blurry, no different than the low resolution photos. An IPhone takes much better quality pictures. I called to let them know, was given the customer care number, nobody answered the call or online help support. I called the store again and was notified they’d be re sent with better quality, nothing….pics weren’t any different than last time. I called again, store was closed on a Tuesday, I called again Wednesday and a gentleman said he’d email them from his work email (don’t know what that would do to help the resolution) still, no email. Called AGAIN on Thursday, I was on hold for 10 minutes, I finally hung up. I can’t use the pics that were taken, I’m out $101. I highly recommend NOT coming here for photos. They must have very old camera technology if cell phones can take better pics. And they obviously do not photoshop anything for you, you just get the raw blurry pic. Read moreim a regular customer, i shop here for years, i have a gift that i bought for my friend, only more than two weeks , not pass the return window, a diamond necklace with recipes and tag , i come to this location to return but the lady works there names nano, ( its might be not her real names) she refused to take the merchandise back with out a reason, she said the system will not let her return, she was racist and not professional the way she treat me, no one should shop here because they let their employees treat clients how ever they wanted and make up a rule that not even accurate , do not shop here , they treat customers like dirt. im attached the pic of the lady works here so everyone can see how horrible they treat their customers. i think their employees hate the company and only wants to get pay hourly but mean to the customer so customers wont come back , or shop here so less work for the employees, she told me go to different store and return it, i did today and got all the returns taking care, these employees wanted to drive the company out of business by mistreating...
