La Granja — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

Ive been coming here for years and unfortunately now that a man named LUIS has been hired service has gone completely down the drain. Everytime income i realize the lines take linger and the food orders are often wrong or missing items when he is the one at the window. Aside from this my experience today was beyond unacceptable. Im 5 months pregnant, extremely sick and have been vomiting all day. I passed by here right before closing to get a soup. I arrived at 9:49 to see everything was off and theyre cleaning. Inpulled to the window and asked for a soup and he told me they were closed. I said no you close at 10 i really need this soup i feel terrible and you have no reason to have shut down any earlier than usual. He then proceeded to tell me that i was the most inconsiderate person he had ever met and that i must not work to have the audacity to come so late. They then shouted if you know we close at ten why didnt you come earlier?! I dont need to come earlier to order something that is premade and sitting in a vat. He then told me they close at ten but the kitchen closes before then. So if thats the case why isnt it stated anywhere? On the door it clearly states 10. The way he treated ne was beyond unacceptable and offensive. I cane here to try and sooth my stomach and instead was insulted and humiliated by luis. If I could give zero starts I would this is the worst location. I literally found BUGSSSS in my food. I called then telling them I don’t want to make you guys look bad on the internet but I would love to let you guys know that I found bugs in my food. Every time I speak with someone they tell me one sec they kept giving the phone to 4 different people and the MANAGER was literally the meanest person you could talk to to. The way he spoke with me was soooo unprofessional and very disrespectful. I didn’t call them to get my money back or anything I just wanted to know so they can be careful for other orders but instead they started being very disrespectful especially the manger it’s 1:00pm on August 30,2024 so the owner knows who was working that day and time. They are very disrespectful I will never be going there ever again after finding a roach in my food. This la Granja location in Boynton Beach is my fav in the area. I have one close to where I live now in the polo grounds plaza at summit and military that I tried but won't go back because I don't like it. I'll never understand why places that are soppossed too be identical are NEVER the same and depending on location will make a difference in how good the food is or isn't. I personally find it very frustrating because Bonefish should be the same in one city and any other. Pizza hut should be pizza hut and boston market should be boston market and Checkers should be checkers... just examples but they are all so different depending on location. What ever happened to consistency? I think the actual owner of the Original franchises should crack down on this issue because when someone opens a chain type restaurant they are expected to run that place based on the requirements of that chain.
