I will start with this RUN RUN away from this school if your value your time, effort and money . Don't even think about it, even if someone referred you to this school. My advice whoever is reading this review and are planning to go for a career for RN or LPN program, please go ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!  Unfortunately, I made the mistake of trying to do my LPN at this horrible place due to my job requirements. I won't talk bad about the teachers from this school because most of them followed up any questions or concerns I had, but they still follow up the directions of the administration. I didn't make it to PN 3 by less than a point and it was because of a HESI test. They make you take four Hesi's back to back in the 2nd semester which are Fundamentals,  Maternity, Pediatric and Med Surge without preparation. It's almost like they want you to fail. I started taking these HESI in the second semester. The students needs to pass these tests, because If you don't pass, it is counts againts your course grade and the students might stay in the semester only because the Hesi. Even if you have amazing grades in the entire semester and never missed any of the HESIs, And always go to the school to take every single Hesi  you still fail if you don't get an 850 on those hesi's. I do not understand how a test (HESI), that I had no preparation for, and no previous experience with; would enable you from getting a passing score. I feel also that the administration is very confused about the method in which they are arriving at the scores, and also they cannot explain how they get their scores, in a way that makes sense to anyone. I was expecting better from this program and from the administration. I understand the policy of the HESI that every student has to follow, but it is very unfair that a student would have to repeat a 2nd semester just because of a HESI score. This school puts so much emphasis on the hesi but do absolutely nothing to help you review for it. I feel the administration at this school need to make changes to the policies about the HESI and make it at least fair. I spoke to the Dean of the school, but she didn't help me, and I told her that I do not understand why the HESI counts against the student's grade in course work because with that design, nobody moves on; and they just make more money by holding people back. It's an embarrassment. I cannot continue as a student at this awful school. The clearly do not care about the students and it's all about the money for them. I feel it is sad that this private school don't work with the students, they leave you in the dark and they let you drowned as much is possible so they can get your money without giving you any options to help you. I feel very sorry for all the people who are getting robbed of their money in this awful...

Read moreSoutheastern college changed my life. Before Southeastern I was stuck at a dead end job working in a warehouse. I decided that was not the life I wanted for myself so I googled âmassage schools near meâ, first thing to pop up was Southeastern. After doing my research and everything I decided to pursue my studies in Clinical Massage Therapy, quite surprisingly it was pretty affordable and plus the financial aid at the school works with in order to come up with a plan tailored for you. Even before youâre enrolled youâll get an advisor that helps you throughout your whole time from the first day you walk into the school until the day you graduate. I can honestly say that the staff at Southeastern College really does care about the wellbeing and success of all of their students. My personal experience in the 8-month Clinical Massage Therapy course was an absolute amazing learning experience all thanks to Ms Dale. Everything I thought I knew about massage was nothing compared to all of the knowledge that I gained throughout those 8 months. Not only did we constantly have our heads in the books but we also had a chance to do a lot of hands on work every single day downstairs in our massage clinic on campus. In the clinic is where we learned a whole lot more about what youâll actually be doing once you graduate and get your massage license after passing the MBLEX exam. Each month we learn about a new body system along with pathologies related to the part of the body that youâll be massaging for that month. On top of being able to work on your fellow classmates everyday youâll also get a chance to work on different body types in the clinic when it is open to the public every Friday and whenever you get to go on community service events where we offer chair massages to the public. So if you ask me the best decision for you to make if your looking for a career in Massage therapy is to come to Southeastern College, compared to a whole lot of other schools this is the only one thatâll have you the most prepared by giving you 900 hours of learning experience in order to have you at the top of your game once you are done with the course. All in all, Southeastern College is the...
