We've been coming here for over a year now. The food is always delicious. It's actually my husband's favorite pho restaurant. Unfortunately, after our last visit, we've decided we're not coming back. It's nothing to do with the food, and everything to do with the service we receive from the wait staff. We noticed that every time we come here, they only bring a drink for myself and my husband, but NEVER a drink for my 10 year old son. The first time it happened, we thought it was a fluke and figured they just forgot to bring him a "kid cup." Nevertheless, we asked for a 3rd water once they returned to our table. Then, when we went back, it happened again. This time it was almost comical because we thought, "Why do they keep doing this?" But again, the food was so good, we brushed it off. The third time it happened, I started to feel annoyed. My son was also wondering why he's never offered any water..so when the waiter came over with the two waters, I said something along the lines of "Can you please bring a water for him?? He also likes to have a drink with his meal." I mean, i feel like that's pretty obvious, right?? After that time, I decided maybe its time to take a break from them. I shouldn't have to go out of my way to make sure my son is also being given the same service as other paying customers. It's not like I share my food with him. His meal is easily $14 a pop. So the other night, we decided to give it another shot, and once again, there was no water for my son. Not only that, but we had to ask for the toppings that come with the pho that every table gets when they order soup. They also never came back to ask us how we were doing and never refilled our drinks, even though the table behind us was definitely being attended to throughout their meal. Enough is enough. There are plenty of delicious pho restaurants to choose from where we are treated much better. I didn't realize that asking for a water was asking too much. It's actually really unfortunate because the food is great, and we would keep coming back if it wasn't for this bizarre service...
Read moreVery nice inexpensive lunch special. I am very partial to Asian soups, so I opted for the Chicken Pho. As part of the special I was offered the option of an egg roll or hot tea. I opted for the egg roll.
Both the soup and appetizer arrived together. The egg roll was the size of a thick finger. Fried, crispy, very tasty, but not like any egg roll I was familiar with.
The pho was FANTASTIC. Hot, tasty, soothing. It was accompanied by the usual tray of accoutrements to add to the soup.
My only gripe is that for a table service restaurant, there isn't much in the way of service. On each table there was a tray of the condiments endemic to an Asian soup restaurant, along with a short stack of small dishes, a supply of disposal chopsticks, and an interesting dispenser of Asian soup spoons. If someone were so disposed, they could dirty the dishes and spoons and just put them back for the unsuspecting patron.
The meal concluded with a very welcome, friendly slice of orange, a very much appreciated touch. Cleaning and refreshing.

Takeout isn’t the best packaging so the food always arrives cold so we’ll usually sit in and eat to really enjoy it. We also like to try different things on the menu and every now and then switch up what we order. This last time we came in, my boyfriend wanted to try something different than his usual and ordered #17. My beef pho was good as usual but the Bun Bo Hue had a very fishy taste to it. So we asked the server if we could try something else and he said he’d send over the owner. The owner basically stated “That’s what you ordered. #17.” and laughed.. So my boyfriend ordered a beef pho so he didn’t go home hungry. We didn’t give him a hard time and just paid the bill. I wish the owner was more understanding and even if it was the same outcome, just handled the situation better. That’s not how you treat loyal customers that regularly like to have date night at your spot. Hope the $13 was worth all the times we won’t...
