A fraudulent incident occurred at this Meijer's by one of the store employees. I was trying to give the store time to redeem themselves and reach out to me but I have heard nothing yet from them. I accidentally left my insurance card as well as my chase debit card at self check out on April 2nd on accident. The next day when I was trying to make a purchase somewhere else I realized I did not have my card and called Meijer's since that was the last placed I would have used it at. Brianna a store rep confirmed they had my debit and insurance card logged as found in their system and that I can come pick it up. When I arrived to get them though she only had my insurance card. She and I were very confused since it "specifically" logged into their system that they had both cards in the system (exactly a Chase blue card etc) since they have to report when they find things like this. At this point I immediately check my account and realize someone was actively using my card and had mad 5 fraudulent purchases with my card (3 at Meijers , 1 at Ross dept store, and 1 at Dollar General) I spoke with the manager on duty at this time-Matthew or Mark I believe and he just kept telling me to "calm down" and that how do I know that one of the employees from the store was the one using it. (BECAUSE IT WAS LOGGED IN YOUR SYSTEM AND LOCKED UP IN YOUR STORES CUSTODY THATS HOW!) Come to find out they had video recording of the times that my card was used by tracking the receipt and it was an employee who went on a shopping spree with my card. I asked could I see the video and was just told to file a police report because they could not give me any info. I filed a police report that day and she was arrested 2 days later. I have not heard a word from corporate, the director of the store or any rep from Meijers about an apology, compensation for loss wages or anything and it happened over a week ago now. I am truly upset only because I really liked shopping at Meijers since it's conveniently located close to my home, but now I feel like I can't even go there anymore. I really wish they had better customer service and cared more about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not from this area and whenever I come to visit I love going to Meijer but I had a terrible experience in the produce section and even though I donāt appreciate the way I was treated maybe they will treat people better in the future. I could not find the onions and I really didt wanna bother or annoy anyone by asking for help, I saw a young woman who was working in produce with a shirt that said on the back āask me for helpā I approached the woman and said āhello maam?ā And she walked away, I thought maybe I wasnāt loud enough and she didnāt hear me or see me so I walk around to ask again and when I went up to her se made full eye contact and she walked around me as I was talking and refused to even acknowledge me and as someone who worked in a grocery store I understand that some people are just on the floor to stock only but even then you could let the person know you canāt talk or direct them to someone who can, Iāve never felt so disrespected before. So I saw someone else in produce and went over to ask him for help and while I was asking him I asked him if she spoke English because maybe she just didnāt understand the language, he then asks me who Iām talking about and I pointed her out and he said āshe has headphones on so she probably couldnāt hear youā even if she didnāt hear me I was directly in front of her, she stopped, and we made eye contact so even if she didnāt hear me she SAW me. That interaction really ruined my shopping experience and just for the future if the store clerk is not allowed to interact with customers or refuses to maybe they shouldnāt be on the sales floor. I just had to say something because I hope no one else is treated like this in the future. I just came to shop and I donāt appreciate being treated like Iām being aggravating just for asking for help, no one should be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moremy review doesnāt go for the store itself , i love Meijer in general and do about 85% of my monthly grocery shopping there .. that was until today..
i went and had my 2 year old daughter with me , naturally she is getting antsy so i make my way to the self checkout , i didnāt know i was going to be belittled and embarrassed in front of other customers , while im using the self checkout and trying to deal with my 2 year old reaching her limit with being there , im scanning and bagging and as im bagging my items and filling the bags i am placing SCANNED ITEMS in the bags back in my cart to make room for my other items that need to be bagged , here comes Ms sherry , who told me i was NOT ALLOWED to place my scanned items in bags back in my cart until i was finished ⦠mind you i have 200.00 worth of groceries soo where am i supposed to put all my bags . well apparently the floor is the appropriate response , i had to place my GROCERIES ON THE FLOOR , then to add to my embarrassment she comes back over to questions items and wether i have scanned them and then starts going through my stuff , she embarrassed me, profiled me like i was trying to shoplift and scared the crap out of my two year old sadly after talking to other people , many people have had negative interactions with this woman , one bad seed has spoiled it for me i will not be returning to Bradley Meijer ever again , i truly hope the manager or whoever i spoke to will take this seriously, its hard enough shopping alone with a toddler , i didnāt need to be embarrassed and shamed -...
