I think Allison isa great company from Germany. It is the equivalent to Walmart. However, if you purchase any items in bulk, larger packages of say, frozen vegetables, coffee pods, etc... this is not the store for you. Most items are a brand name that most have never heard of. Yet the taste is similar, but the price breaks down to less per package be mindful of the package size. They are limited in selection. I needed enchilada sauce. They do not carry it. There was a very limited selection of soda, paper goods are smaller packages and lesser quality. So I am saying. You will most likely still have to go somewhere else for certain items. On the positive side, the store was very clean, produce was nice and fresh. Some fresh meats looked real nice. But cut Mears, roasts etc were small to feed a family of 5 would take at least 2 packages per meal.all in all it is a very nice store. They have a nice variety of deli style dips etc. If you go take plenty of bags to bag your own groceries. Or you will need to scrounge boxes and or pay for any and all bags they have. It definitely is worth the time. But you need to bring a quarter to use a shopping cart. You do get it back when you put...
Read moreI have grown up in Illinois and matured in Arizona and Nell Missouri and I'm very familiar with the Aldi name. There's No Frills here it's Aldi's and it's no different than any other one. I don't remember things being priced they way they are at Aldi's I suppose inflation has stricken all of us even the grocery store chain actually especially the grocery store chain. I find that many items that are in the Aldi's I can find cheaper at Dollar General to be factual. Now if you are looking for produce or fresh fruits or vegetables you probably chosen the right place also if you are keen on packing your own groceries because this is a staple at Aldi's they don't spend money on employees or carts Wranglers you must put your own cart back if you wish to return your quarter to your pocket. yes that's right you must rent your cart for a quarter and you get it back upon return of your cart. Not very many employees I would imagine a stalker or to the cash register folks just ring it up and toss it to your cart when you carry it away you must bag your groceries your self. Those familiar with Aldi's brand know this is the way it is. I am not that big a fan however there is a place...
Read moreI love Aldi and am very pleased that they FINALLY came to Branson. BUT THE STORE IS FILTHY. From the area of the cart return it's filthy. The entry foyer is out of the wipes for your cart and has been out for MONTHS. Upon entering the store itself, the floor is FILTHY and has been that way consistently. The bathrooms are hit and miss, but mostly miss. They are drab and disgusting. I REALLY wish they had a separate men's and women's--not both being for either. I do not like having to look at a urinal, and men in general do not care to be neat in their bathrooms. I understand why Aldi did what they did, but it's just ₵Ɽł₦₲Ɇ. As far as store stocking, they keep it stocked pretty nicely, but when I needed something on a high shelf in the refrigerated section (There weren't any of that item toward the front, but behind the front box), the employee seemed put out that I'd asked for his help. I asked very kindly and politely too. It's a shame that such a new store...
