Starbucks — Restaurant in Branson

We went at 8:30 in the morning and there were two employees and one guest ahead of us. One employee was making the guests drinks while the other employee sat there scrubbing the feet of one of their shelving units instead of helping the other employee by either making drinks or taking our order. So after a short wait we had our order taken. A venti caramel machiato hot and a Java chip frap with 4 shots of espresso. Only the employee forgot to add the shots of espresso to the bill at first and had to be reminded. I work in the service industry so I usually tip 30% at the lowest for anything I get anywhere but I had already felt ignored and brushed off so I wasn't inclined to tip. Which is VERY rare for me. But then when I was handed my drink I asked to make sure, "I'm not second guessing you, I just didn't notice you put the espresso shots in, are they in here?" To which he claimed they were but my drink was much lighter than I'm used to. I walked away not wanting to be difficult and tasted the drink to find that there was no taste of espresso whatsoever. My mom and I were doing some shopping at Target and on the way out my mom decided to grab a cup of coffee. My mother is a picky coffee drinker and has been disappointed by Starbucks coffee in the past, but Andrew and Audrey made sure that this time was different! Not only did Audrey take the time to brew fresh coffee in their medium and dark roast options, but Andrew took the time to explain the bean process to myself and my mother. Originally she had ordered a large cup of their medium roast, which she was not happy with. My mother explained what sort of flavor she was looking for and how she doesn't want it to taste burnt. Andrew proceded to have my mom smell different beans available and explained the process of getting a cup from one of the many options of beans. He then had her taste a small cup of blonde roast which is what she ended up getting a large cup of. The only disappointing thing of the entire venture was how that location no longer has seating or tables which I found to be strange but maybe they don't plan on keeping the location or are going to do a renovation. We had a quick stop after the Branson scenic train ride, it was so hot we wear craving for something cold and found Starbucks rite across the street. Everyone went to get the drinks. As usual I got the hibiscus drink, I couldn’t wait for all the drinks we ordered so had my first sip not too sweet nor too dry. I liked the drink. My daughter got a strawberry acallem, my friend got a coffee frappe which she found from one of the tick-tock list. It was so tasty and sweet that I could taste the coffee and frappes sweetness. I generally don’t use tick tock suggestions to but a customised drink at Starbucks, this was the first time I have done the experiment and strangely I liked it. I guess one in a while we need to experiment with the drinks at Starbucks. You never know which one...
