Mattress Firm Branson — Hotel in Branson

First I will say the customer service at the Branson store was great. Roy is a very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen. With that said I will also mention that I will not buy a product from the MattressFirm company again. Buyer beware. I purchased a mattress in the $1200+ range. Delivery and setup were fine and they hauled our old mattress off. Great. About 5 months after we got the mattress, the edge of it lost most of it's rigidity. I have a habit of sitting on the edge of the bed while getting dressed in the mornings for work. At this point, if i sit on the edge of the bed, the mattress just collapses and squishes flat. I'm 6'4" about 210lbs by the way. So that side of it now slopes down, and if you lay near the edge you feel as if you might roll off the bed. That's all fine, sometimes there are problems with a product. However, I learned that Mattress Firm will not stand behind the product. Well, i should note, they "might" but you have to pay them a fee to come look at it, then after you pay them, they will inspect the mattress and decide if they want to cover it under warranty. If they do, then you have to pay to have the new mattress shipped to you, which is fairly expensive. The issue I had with my mattress took just long enough to show up that it wasn't a real problem until just after the initial warranty expired. My previous mattress was a $300 unit that I had for 10 years, and it never did this. Even so, I'm not going to pay a company to stand behind their products. If there is a legitimate problem with the product, I think it should be replaced at little or no cost to me. That's not how MattressFirm does things. I have no desire to mess with their incredibly complicated process. Instead, Ill just eat the cost of the mattress and replace it again next year. From somewhere other than...

When we walked in to mattress firm for the first time we was like oh my, very nervous of making a commentment when you know very little. Richard was our sales guy he was absolutely amazing. As a matter a fact I told him I was gonna deal with anyone else. We told him what we kinda wanted because like I said we were unsure. He took us around to a couple... we'll not that cup of this then once he understood he took us to one we absolutely fell in love with. To a point that we came the next day to put a deposit so we knew we would be getting it, instead we paid it all up front. Richard we very fair with pricing knocking some down. Unlike some sales men there like take it or leave it. Rich was great giving great deals and never made my wife and I feel like he was trying to over sale a product if you know what I mean. Nor was he like you like this $800 one well you'll love this $2000 one. Nothing like that at all. I'm not getting paid or a discount for this review so you can take what I'm saying or leave it. I'm writing all this so if some are review watchers, this is my opinion. But for the facts I won't go anywhere else to purchase a bed. To be honest before we paid it of we went to another furniture shop just to check prices for curious minds. I bought a bed at a garage sale, brought it home and set it up. And after I had slept on it about 3 hours I realized I had made a big mistake buying a used bed. It had a very bad smell to it. The next day I went to Mattress Firm, here in Branson. There was a Salesman by the name of Kyle that asked if he could help me. I told him about my experience but also told him I had been online for several hours that morning trying to figure out what kind of mattress I really needed. I had a lot of questions. He was very professional and seemed to genuinely make sure I would be satisfied with my purchase. I had several options to consider and wanted to take my time deciding. He was kind enough to email me the different quotes on the different options. I took a week to decide what I wanted to do. I went back today and he greeted me immediately and remembered what we had chatted about. I waited for him to finish a sale he was making because I wanted to deal with him directly. I decided on my purchase, and couldn't believe my ears when I heard that they are going to deliver it tomorrow. He emphasized several times that he wanted me to follow up with in the next couple of months to let him know for sure that I'm happy with my purchase. I was very impressed with his customer service.
