I walked into the store. There were two employees in view. Neither bothered to acknowledge my presence. Not a "Hello", "How are you?" "We'll be right with you." The female employee was working with another customer, but that's no reason to not say "Hello". The male was in the back. He walked up to the work station in the back of the room, and didn't say anything. He looked up, but that was the extent of the greeting. I had to be the one to initiate the greeting. I said "Hello, I am here to get a new phone." They both stayed silent. I felt like they were too bothered by my entrance and didn't want my money. Since no one came to greet me in the show area, I walked back to the two sitting employees. As I mentioned, the female was with a customer, so I went up to the male and said, "I would like to look at phones." He blurts out "What's your phone number?". I gave it to him. He entered it into the computer, and said nothing. I stood there, awkwardly, for a minute or so. There was no dialogue, so I asked him if he was going to help me find a phone. He said he was looking up my account. Then said nothing. So I stood there... waiting, for what? I had no idea, because no one was communicating. The lack of friendliness was so uncomfortable that I wanted to leave. I am a very friendly person. I treat my customers like I am here to help; not treat them like they're a nuisance. Customer service people should have better social skills than the employees at this store. I do not recommend going here. When the rest of my family needs upgrades, we will be...
Read moreDefinitely tried to cheat me. I went to this store to purchase my iPhone 7 Plus in cash - I pay in full because if you use an "upgrade" and finance the phone over two years they charge a one-time "upgrade fee" of $30.00 on your next bill. To keep my monthly payment low and to avoid this fee, I was very clear that I wanted to pay for the phone outright. I spent just over $1000.00 on the phone and protective case... My next bill showed that I was hit with the $30.00 "one-time upgrade fee" AND they signed me up for the insurance that I specifaclly declined in store, at $11.00/month (if you've done your research you know phone insurance is a scam but that is a different issue).
How did I get hit with an upgrade fee if I paid over $1000??? They financed exactly $1.00 of the cost of the phone over two years!!! Who would want to finance one dollar??? (Literally $0.04/billing cycle for 2 years triggered a $30 upgrade fee)
Luckily a 90min phone call to Verizon (not this store) got this sorted out, but be warned, this store is definitely out to cheat you.
(Their excuse was that they finance $1.00 to preserve the manufacturer warranty. I can tell you, as an attorney, the manufacturer's warranty comes from Apple Inc. and attaches to the phone itself, no financing is required to keep it or to...
Read moreWorst experience ever!! My boyfriend was transferring from att to Verizon and ask the lady working there if he needs the phone unlocked first. She said “you’re fine it should automatically work.” We continued with the process to find out it wasn’t the case. His phone number was transferred to the new Verizon SIM card and then he had to was a whole 45 min to get a hold of att to unlock his phone and now he is out of service for a few days. As all of this was happening he had a emergency and couldn’t even get a hold of his little sister. On top of it he had to waste another hour today to just go back to the store to get the SIM card that she could of easily gave to him in the first place the day before. The worker should be professional and get help if she doesn’t know the answer to a question instead of just trying to get someone to sign up real quick. Worst experience of customer service at a wireless store...
