Amazing Fantasy Books & Comics Tinley Park,IL(Illinois) is still one of my most Best and favorite Comic Book Stores ever in The Chicagoland Area especially Tinley Park,IL(Illinois),The Tinley Park location has it all! Def worth a trip if you're in the area Also The Second, smaller location, but incredibly well-stocked and Superb Comic Book Shop, with a wide assortment of New Comics/Issues and recent Back Issues.quite a few long boxes for collectors looking for older material, and a nice selection of Trades/Trade PaperBacks, Hardcovers/Graphic Novels. Also Friendly helpful staff.Also Excellent but great selection of Comics & Collectibles for your collection. Also the store personnel was outstanding! Prices are still good.Also the Supply is still huge.Also Val and I stopped by last Wednesday to not only buy some Christmas gifts but also Some Comic Books, Also Both staff members were still friendly and knowledgeable. Also Great but Spectacular Comic Book Store that has a lot more than comics. People are still friendly, nice, and extremely Knowledgeable. Also Great service. Knowledgeable, Friendly staff, Also I have a Spectacular time at A&F Books & Comics at Tinley Park, Illinois last Wednesday, highly recommend it. Great atmosphere,wide selection,friendly employees, fascinating merch, and amazing books all at great prices,10/10, would like to come again when I get the time, Also These Comic Book Shop guys have been nothing but the nicest,kindest, and friendliest people.Also This is one of my top Comic Shops, they have 3 shops Tinley Park,Frankfort, & Lockport. I Haven't been to the Lockport location but Tinley and Frankfort shops are an amazing but excellent place to find your Comics and other accessories.Also My favorite local Comic Shop. Fantastic Selection and equally fantastic prices. Also One of the best Comic Shops in the South Suburbs(Tinley Park). Friendly staff, good chill atmosphere. They have a wide selection of 1.New Comics,2.Back Issues,3.Golden Age Comics,4.Silver Age Comics,5. Toys,6.Statues,7.Trade Paperbacks,8.Hardcover Books, They also have rare Comics(located behind the counter on the wall). Also they have Magazines as well, If you join their subscription you get 10% off your Comics, but you must have 4 recurring titles to be a subscriber. Also nice Comic Shop, Good Selection. They have, in the words of the salesgirl, "pretty decent" books at good prices, but apparently would rather not sell them. My boyfriend collects a lot of comics and does a lot of buying and trading, so we make a point to stop in at comic book shops when we go out of town. We saw this place and he saw 3 different key issues that he wanted to look at and most likely purchase. We were then informed that they had just "lost" their ladder the day before and couldn't reach the top shelf of key issues (despite the fact that they had a ladder clearly visible in the back hallway). We asked if there was any way they could possibly reach them, or pull them down by the time we came back through the town on our return trip home. I offered to write down which ones we wanted, but the girl said we should just call when we were on our way back through. We did. It seemed as if the girl who answered the phone was the same one we had spoken to before (mainly because she seemed obligated to talk to customers, regardless of their obvious intent to spend multiple hundreds of dollars on just one trip). I told her that we had been in a few days before, but were told to call back. I told her which books we wanted, and she said that she could only get to one of the three, and that tomorrow she could get them. I told her that, as I had mentioned before, this was our second trip through the town and we would not be returning. She stated that there was absolutely no way she could get to the others, and we hung up. My boyfriend toyed with the idea of going in just to buy the one, but in the end, we decided that going back was not worth our time or worth inconviniencing the salesgirl with talking to customers. We'll find someone more pleasing to talk to and more willing to part with their inventory to buy key...

I used to love this store for back issues. I stopped in weekly for some time. The selection was great and so much of it was priced at $1. I stopped collecting for a few years and went back recently. I couldn't even look at the back issue stock because the entire area was covered in junk. The employee at the checkout didn't seem to care much about leaving the store in that state. He didn't offer to move any of it so I could look around. I left pretty quickly. I can't comment on the pricing these days, because I couldn't really get in there. The sad thing is that it's a decent back issue stock for such a small store. It is a very tight fit to walk around even when the mess isn't there but that's a fair trade-off...
