South Shopping Center — Local services in Bremen Township

Shopping center. If I've got the right place, there's a GREAT Ace Hardware store here that gets 5 stars. Sure, less stuff than other local 'big box' stores, but for smaller DIY projects like minor home repairs from plumbing to drywall to gutters, screens, keys and so on, they have it. Bonus, they really are HELPFUL! Whenever I go in, there's someone there to greet me, ask what I'm looking for and takes me right to it. No meandering for 15 minutes to find what you need. Once you have what you went for, then meander- you'll be surprised by how much they do have!

Side note, there's also a vacuum repair store in this center. I picked up a refurbished Kirby vacuum for $200. Darn thing works like stink, heavy but self propelled fwd & back- works WAY BETTER than popular name brand light, plastic vacuums. $500 for a Dy... ? The attachments are great but carpet?...

The staff is great. I'm 73 and my app wasn't working. The young man working took my phone and had my rewards in seconds. He saved me $25...
