Park Ace Hardware — Local services in Bremen Township

Went to this Ace to support local business. What a mistake. Purchased a Weber grill attracted by delivery and assembly. Took a week to schedule an in stock grill purchase. Was called and told delivery would be between noon and 4 pm. At 405 pm I'm talking to a store manager that has no idea if my grill even left the store. He says he will find out and call me back. Almost an hour later I have to call again to which I get a "I texted the driver he didn't answer, hold on I'll try calling him". Finally get a call back and told my grill will arrive sometime tonight as the driver is 30 miles away. Keep in mind I live 3 miles from the store. So a couple hours late the driver drops the grill on my drive way and takes off. My wife and I had to carry it to the backyard so be weary of the term "delivery". In reality this was my fault. If you are going to be treated like garbage might as well go to a big box store and save a few bucks for the same...

The greatest thing about Ace Hardware is that you never have to hunt down a Sales Associate. They are always there to great you at the door and to ask if you need any help. During your shopping process it is never difficult to have your questions answered, or to receive helpful suggestions. Their products are name brands, so you know you are receiving quality merchandise that lasts. Plus, they perform repairs on site, & handle Handyman house calls. We were so tired of tracking or chasing down Sales Associates in the big box stores, only to find out they had to call another Associate to help us; passing us off. Well I went into the store... And everyone was at the paint desk. This personnel old guy says to me (after he took care of someone), " I'll send someone to you". I heard him him on the intercom someone needed at the grills... I waited and waited patiently and no one arrived. So I left I went to ACE at 9545 167st. Spent $182.00 and they where so polite took care of me immediately. But I needed more items which they didn't have and I saw at Park Ace. So I returned to spend another 240.00 but I was displeased with the man at Park Ace. Never before did I feel this way... Or the old guy could have made sure some-one would help me... I may think twice to return... Especially since I like Ace over...
