âIt takes months to find a customer and seconds to lose one.â That quote perfectly describes the situation that had happened today. My sibling and I were planning to have a nice treat on such a perfect day for one. I originally started with 20 bucks. Everything was actually going pretty alright, but this older man got my order wrong. I asked for a THREE SCOOP peanut butter cup, but for some reason he heard a one scoop? My father heard me correctly however, and tried to kindly address this. When he said I wanted a three scoopâ NOT A ONE SCOOPâ the older man wrote down a two scoop along with the one scoop he originally wrote down. I wasnât paying for three ice creams. I was paying for two. One for me, and one for my brother. I didnât know what to say, and barely had a chance to when the older guy started yelling at my dad. They started arguing. My sibling and I had to watch in terror as the older man told us to get the hell out of there, without our ice cream or my money. I could have swore I was shaking. Eventually at the second window they proceeded to argue with my dad sticking up for me. I shouldnât have came out with 4 bucks. I should have came out with around 10 bucks. My brother wanted a slushi. A large slushi is $3.99. A three scoop peanut butter cup is $5.99. When me and my sibling finally got my ice cream we saw a TORNADO COME OUT THE WINDOW?? That was straight up unprofessional work!!! And when we were about to leave, he mocked my dadâs work uniform and told him to âget some long pants.â And when I tried to speak, the older man shut the window on me. I think my ice cream was spiked too? I keep on seeing these chalky blue bits. I donât think Iâll be allowed back...
Read moreWhat an experience whether the older gentleman is the owner or not he needs to sit back and let someone else take the orders. He just ruined and scared my 13-12 yr old kids whiteys experience. He first got the order wrong then proceeded to fix it but did it the wrong way. He wouldnât let me explain nothing, he was just screaming and hollering at me that he wasnât stiffing my daughter which she did pay for their order. Great example to show young children. I loved coming here and my kids but never again would I spend another dollar at this run down establishment, on top on him ripping my daughter off he then was insulting me. Great character to have working there especially in a childrenâs environment, all he had to do was give the money back for the one scoop then let my daughter pay for what she originally ordered which was a 3 scoop. Then we were being served a third item we didnât even order. The old man doesnât belong working behind the window period. Because my daughter clearly said three scoop and I even corrected the order before it was even made⌠lower your ego some old man and just admit you were wrongâŚ. You guys make great money during the summers months but Iâll be sure to never recommend this place ever. To sum it up thanks for stealing from my daughter and thanks for showing my kids how to treat people even though you were wrong...
Read moreThe service was horrible. I'm going to take it as the person taking orders could not hear me. Asked for 2 small twist cones and small twist in a cup with fudge and was charged $17. I went to the second window to try to get someone else's attention but the older man came to the window said I didn't know what I wanted when I came up to the window. I said sir that isn't true. He made a mistake and put me down for another cup originally I never ask for. When I asked him the price on the cup he got flustered and said that he can take it all back and give me my money back. My youngest son was already almost finished at this point. I told him sir I'm not asking that you're misunderstanding what I'm asking, he said maybe I am and shut the window. First time I've had a negative interaction with anyone there. I probably won't be returning. As well as being overcharged. Wasn't worth him embarrassing me because I had a question. When he said a small twist was 3.95 when it wasn't. It wasn't the point of the money but the way he was approached the situation because he...
