I've been a resident of Crestwood for just shy of a decade and have never had a violation for anything. I went in today to inquire about a recent violation I received for my lawn supposedly being too long and I was treated by the employee with annoyance and a condescending attitude, dismissing my concerns and current unfortunate personal situation with what anyone would consider a failing mark in customer relations. Working for the town means that you are a part of that community but when you treat the townspeople that pay the taxes funding your salary as though they are beneath you as a person, it just comes across as demeaning. There's a way to get a message across kindly, or even just simply professionally, but I experienced neither of those in this interaction today. Read moreCrestwood has one of the most beautiful interior spaces in any of the municipal buildings in the south suburbs. Attention was paid to every detail! Also, you can purchase original artworks that are being displayed. Aside from the beauty of the space, I was there for the purpose of contractor registration and permit. The entire process took about ten minutes and I walked out the door with my permit the same visit. The cost was minimal too!! Stellar, rock star service at pauper prices.
