Employees are THIEFS! AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! When we first got to the hotel everything was great the women who checked us in was a sweetheart but then when checkout morning came everything went wrong. First off we had room service walk in our room at 10:30 when checkout wasn’t until 11:00 (luckily we were dressed) then we left and went to Ross next door when my boyfriend realized he didn’t have his phone so I checked Find My IPhone and it said his phone was at the hotel so we went back and he went inside and asked them if he could look in the room so the manager went up to look for it and said she couldn’t find it so he came back out we looked on the ground checked through the car incase the location was inaccurate no luck. He then told us the comments the manager had made about “you have all this garbage in here we should charge you I’ve never seen a room this bad” when mind you it was 4 of us staying there for 3 days with only 2 tiny trash cans we even took down a couple bags of garbage the previous day and all the “garbage she was talking about was in the trashcans and also in a shopping bag not all over the room we literally cleaned up the room when we got up that morning and got our stuff together. So that pissed his mom off even more so she went inside and started demanding answers about the phone because the location is still saying it’s in the hotel even when we’d drive off and the manager was steady arguing with us and walking around the lobby with the find my iPhone location saying “it says it should be right here” when everyone knows ts not 100% accurate and it’s not going to tell you what floor it’s on so we knew at that point either she stole it or was covering for one of her employees. They even ended up calling the police on us because we said we wernt leaving without the phone. The police came and couldn’t find the phone (they were really helpful and tried their best) and my boyfriend didn’t know his password for find my iPhone to set off the alarm to help find it so they said the manager would call us if it comes up but there was nothing else they could do. So we left them my boyfriend ended up getting into his find my iPhone so we went back and called the previous responding officer to come back and assist so no altercation occurred and he went in the hotel with my phone setting off the alarm on my boyfriends phone and they found it in the room under a stack of clean towels so he spoke with the boss and manager and even the manager admitted we had no clean towels in our room so obviously the housekeeper tried to hide it in the room when she realized we were onto them. The manager then took down our information and said they would figure out a way to compensate us for the inconvenience being this whole ordeal took hours and we had a 5 hour drive home and this made us late to get back for work. We still haven’t heard back and when I tried calling to speak to the boss the front desk lady refused to transfer me to him. It’s absolutely rediculous I shouldn’t have to go through corporate but looks like I’m...

Even in the rain or cold or both. ||||It is impossible to understand why Holiday Inn Express allows its name to be posted on the building. ||||There was one bright spot: Maria, working the front desk, was efficient, polite, and pleasant. She does a marvelous job and she should be working in a hotel worthy of her talents. ||||“Filthy” doesn’t begin to adequately describe the hideous condition of this place. It smells very bad. All the carpeting needs to be replaced. The furniture had unknown liquids that are not cleaned. The paint is beat up badly. The walls are dirty. The window treatments are stained. ||||The carpet in the room though, was the deal breaker. When you walk on it in bare feet, there is this sort of oily brown goo that stains and sticks to the bottom of your feet. That room carpet was unforgivably befouled, begrimed, bemired, dingy, gunky, skanky, malodorous, shabby, defiled, and grungy. My complaint is not that it was worn: I don’t care about that. But it hasn’t been cleaned for a very, very long time. It was profoundly DIRTY. it has needed cleaning for years. ||||I once watched a nature show about bats. These particular bats lived in caves. Huge numbers of them…. And their guano builds up into inches or feet on the cave floor. The dirtiness of the room carpet made me think of that bat guano. ||||I can’t conceive how governmental authorities who inspect hotels allow its continued operation. Something is weird about that. ||||I chose this hotel based on the name: I don’t expect luxury at a Holiday Inn Express, but I have stayed at enough of them to feel confident I could count on basic quality. The disgusting unsanitary condition of this squalid, fetid, and festering establishment besmirches the brand. ||||My son and I are weren’t thrilled when we first arrived, but once we took showers and walked in bare feet on the carpet we checked out and went to a Hampton Inn for less money. ||||I would like my money back. The quality expectation chasm means that by Holiday Inn allowing reservations through their system they are deceiving their customers. ||||I wouldn’t send someone I detested to this...
Read moreI saw reviews on Google and TripAdvisor stating that the breakfast is bad. Why won't the manager take action? Are they working together to damage the image of IHG? I've seen a lot of complaints about this hotel, mentioning that it falls below the standard of IHG hotels. I didn’t think it was true, but it happened to me. Considering the price, I would choose another hotel. I didn't believe the breakfast was that bad, but it was. There are many complaints, but why won't the manager take action?||I am absolutely appalled by my experience at this Holiday Inn Express as a Platinum member. It was an absolute disaster.||1. NO YOGURT. I’ve stayed at countless Holiday Inn Expresses, and they always have yogurt. But not this one. I waited all week, assuming it was a one-day fluke, but NO. Not a single yogurt for the entire stay.|||2. Pancakes? OUT OF ORDER. Every. Single. Day. Fix it already.|||3. Cereal condiments? Non-existent. Where were the raisins, nuts, almonds? The counter was practically empty except for some cereal and milk cartons.|||4. Cinnamon rolls? GONE. Nothing but an empty tray.|||5. Hot food? A few scraps of bacon bits, greasy eggs, and that’s it, it was only 9 A.M. Breakfast doesn’t close until 9:30, but she couldn’t bother to restock anything.|||6. Tried to grab bread, and the tongs were nowhere to be found. So, I rabbed it with a clean fork, and the breakfast attendant (Yeseca was her name) YELLED at me, “LOOK LOOK LOOK!” while aggressively clicking the tongs in my face. Maybe don’t HIDE them behind the drinks machine?|||7. The fruit? I went to grab an orange, and the staff SCREAMED at me that they were hers! WHAT?! Aren’t the oranges for guests? She stared me down the entire time, too. |||She was also banging on the cabinets and table. It was so loud, too.||||To top it off, the manager didn’t care at all. I waited 30+ minutes for refills, but nothing was ever restocked.||Oh, and the bathroom tub? CLOGGED.||Horrible experience all around.|||| The price of this hotel does not match the service, amenities, and quality—it's too high. Considering these factors, I would highly recommend another hotel, whether it's a different Holiday Inn Express or an entirely...
