Had to got to another artist to get my tattoo finished and fixed. I had an uneasy feeling as to why a tattoo I was told would take 1-2 sessions and cost $500-600 is now having to be scheduled for a 7th session and over double the cost. Artist reasoning was my skin is hard to get full saturation. I went to speak to many artists and later found out I have no saturation problem with my skin and that this piece shouldn’t have taken more than 1-2 sessions. What I am saying is that I was being taken advantage of, lied to, and being ripped off. I do not recommend this shop. Im sad to be writing this bc I was so hopeful and excited to get this tattoo done bc it means so much to me. Now when I look at it I have somewhat of a sour taste in my mouth about the experience.
I’m editing this review after 3 years. I’ve spent over $1000 to get this tattoo fixed. I can’t believe how bad he ruined this tattoo. Especially bc it is so meaningful I shouldn’t have to be spending this much for to get it fixed. He couldn’t even cover up what I wanted to get covered. The reason I got this tattoo in the place I did. I’ve never been so frustrated and pissed off. You go to an artist to get what you want and what they tell you they can do it. It’s clear he wasn’t experienced enough to do this tattoo/cover up. A tattoo I was looking forward to for a while and creating it and saving mo why for it. It’s a very important and meaningful piece. It would be nice to have this made right but it never will and it’s sad. If a customer was so unsatisfied and went through what I was put through going to appointment after appointment and it not getting it done after months of appointments. I would be fixing it myself or refunding some of the cost. But it has been 3 years and $1000 to fix it so it won’t happen. Just putting it out there what a client went through and to beware so this doesn’t...
Read morewould never come to this place again. i got a septum piercing here with absolutely no knowledge of the piercing (yes, my fault for not doing research) but i trusted the woman piercing me as this is her PROFESSION. she started off by saying she’d poke around to check for my sweet spot. she then proceeded to pierce without telling me she would be putting the needle through. she used quite a bit of force and struggled to get the needle through because she was piercing my CARTILAGE. she then struggled to get the jewelry through and then dropped the jewelry on my face. as she was struggling to get the jewelry through the needle slipped out and she had to put the needle through again and still struggled to get the jewelry through. eventually she got the jewelry through. one more problem though she pierced so high in my nose that you could not see the jewelry at all it was completely in my nose. she did show me after and assured me that my sweet spot was where she pierced it and that i could just get a longer piece of jewelry once it healed. i took her word. it was time to pay and she stared me down once the tipping screen came up. a couple weeks go by after struggling with severe nose pain and a constant runny nose i finally decided to do some research and go to a different shop. come to find out from the new piercer that it was absolutely placed in the wrong spot. and that this had not been the first time they’d had people come in after going to ‘body by design’ with their piercings done wrong. i got it redone in the correct spot this time and the pain and runny nose instantly went away. although i should have done research before getting pierced this woman should not be allowed to pierce. either she doesn’t know what she’s doing or she’s taking advantage of people (or both). do your research and...
Read morei really hate to leave a bad review, but andi honestly really messed up my tattoo. it seemed really simple and i didnt think it could get messed up this bad, but its shaky, partially fell off, and also has pretty bad blowout at the bottom that showed up like immediately too..🥲 also, ive had many tattoos done and the ones that were done right did not fall off or have blowout, only the ones that i could feel were done with the wrong pressure. i have tattooing experience myself, so i know how deep the needle should go and how it should feel due to messing up my first ones (peeling off, blowout) and then having successful ones due to being done right and me taking care of all my tattoos as best as possible during the healing. i also know that it really should not have been bleeding like that where i got the blowout and that the pressure should not be different all throughout the tattoo. very disappointing and i would sadly not recommend andi for tattooing because i feel like i’ve wasted my money and wish i went somewhere else or got a different...
