Terrific Mexican comfort food in a no frills setting. 🌮 🌯 😋 👍 Best to avoid peak hours as small strip mall parking lot fills up quickly and parking is tight. 🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗 🙁 Pricing is reasonably competitive. 💲👍 Food and drink choices are limited. Pop is served in cans for the most part, in limited flavors. Though better carne asada can be found elsewhere (namely Las Fajitas), steak burritos and tacos are still a very good choice here. Something else worth noting, the carne asada dinners, though leaded with meat, is not cooked to order - based on my experience the steak is prepared medium-well, that's my guess. 🥩 🌮 👍 Chicken based dishes are also very good - tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, and burritos. 🐔 🍽 👍 The rice here is excellent! 👨‍🍳 👏 The staff is friendly and welcoming. During peak hours expect a bit of a wait, especially walk-ins. On the times I've stopped in to get dinner to go, there has been only one cook preparing orders. ⏳ 🙁 Because the food is very good, I'm willing to wait. I gave them two stars for the fact that I haven’t had issues with them before . Me and my spouse stop by around 10:15-1030pm to eat tortas after a wake . I had order our food ! I specifically told the waitress that I was allergic to tomatoes and to make sure they didn’t touch the tomatoes. After a few minutes our tortas had arrived and behold there was tomatoes. I got the waitress attention and told her that there were tomatoes inside my tortas. She was polite and said she would get me a new one . When she handed the torta to the cook I observed him taking the tomatoes of the same torta and he saw me and told me it was ready . I replied I just saw what you did and I replied that I was highly allergic to tomatoes. He got a little Rude and told me that the salsa had tomatoes and I tried to explain that there was a difference between whole and process tomatoes. I got so upset that I told him that I didn’t want the torta anymore and to wrap what my spouse had . I will be putting a law suit against them because they don’t understand the severity which...

General quality of the food is going down and they know it. Sometimes, they serve you meat that's been sitting there - pastor already sliced: you can tell by the taste & texture! I like crispy pieces, not chewy, bland flavorless gristle.

The upside is friendly & quick service. Prices are very reasonable as you can easily find expensive Mexican spots all over! Mind you its cash-only, which is unfortunate but not enough to prompt a loss in review. It's sad that the quality of the food went down. I hate dog-chew pieces of pork!
