Been enjoyung PB since it's opening. I'm new to the rewards program, I was excited to use a coupon tonight for the first time but was given a hard time.
After placing my order, I pulled up and scanned the coupon "Free Pastry w/ Purchase of Beverage". When I looked at the screen I didn't see my beverage order and that the system picked up the "Welcome Free Pastry" instead. She said she hasn't had a chance to ask me about the size that's why it wasn't in the system yet. So I told her I would like to save the Welcome coupon for a later day but she kept saying that's the coupon I scanned. Then I explained to her I opened the "Free Pastry w/ Purchase of Beverage" coupon but the system pick up another coupon instead because my beverage order wasn't in yet when I scanned. So she canceled it and asked me to scan the coupon one more time, but the system picked up the same "Welcome! Free Pastry" coupon again.
She kept going on and on about me choosing that particular coupon but I clearly opened the "Free Pastry w/ Purchase of Beverage" and I showed her on my app but she started explaining how the "Free Pastry w/ Purchase of Beverage" works, i.e. you have a get a drink and she emphasized "the drink is not free". YES! I know that! I just ordered an iced tea! It seemed that there was a communication break down so she had to get the manager unwillingly and first thing she said to the manager was "she scanned the wrong coupon". I said I did not, the system picked up another coupon. Then she said "You scanned twice, remember?" That really upset me and I said I scanned the same "Free Pastry w/ Purchase of Beverage" coupon, she probably realized I was a little upset so she just shook her head and mumbled "nevermind".
With the manager's help, I successfully scanned the coupon of my choice. Although the manage also seemed confused about the different types of coupons available. I did not appreciate the staff's attitude at all, I personally think she was being a bit rude. After the transaction, she went off to chit chat with the manager and did not worry about getting my beverage ready. I had to wait for her to finish her conversation with the manager.
Also, it was my first time buying an iced tea, is it a standard to have this much ice? Some melted already, it was filled all the way to the top and their ice cubes are huge.
I have to say, this experience was rather...
Read moreWe used to be so happy that a Paris baguette opened up in Brentwood. But your lack of empathy clearly screams out loud to us, you don’t follow what you preach on your walls about happy customers, they are nothing more than a sale to you, what a shame!
We regret the day we came to the Paris baguette that day to get some pastries because there are no safety procedures in place at this location nor any responsiveness if the customer is hurt and bleeding.
I have attached photos of what happened, my wife when opening the pastry cabinet smashed her finger and we had to go to the ER to get an Xray as it was turning black and blue. That evening I returned and also took photos/videos that shows the unsafe cabinet, there are no guardrails to prevent someones finger from being smashed (as a reasonable person would expect).
The next day we spoke to the manager Nav. All we asked for is to file incident report and point him out how unsafe those drawers are.
Then days passed and the manager just kept on dragging on how “the owner is planning to call’ … “owner out of town”… “owner busy”. Finally we realized owner never intends to call so we asked for medical papers back…now we are being ghosted. Truly disappointing experience in this location.
We don’t usually write this but we have to so nobody else has to go through the same experience as we did! If I could I would put negative stars...
Read moreIt’s a pretty big store compared to other locations I’ve been into. Me and my niece stopped by early evening…around 4:30 ish. If you want to get some of the really good options, I recommend coming early because I guess once the shelves are empty they don’t fill them back up come evening time. Which makes sense I guess.
They do still have desserts and sandwiches available. There were people in the store eating and hanging out. The atmosphere is ok. It’s like bakery/cafe. You smell the goodness as soon as you walk in.
Customer service: it was ok. They helped us right away. One thing I don’t like is when they grab your dessert from the window. They don’t wear gloves so if they’re not careful their hand and fingers may touch your dessert. I watched the guy that helped us, he was very careful but one of his fingers almost touched the top of my dessert. I don’t know maybe I’m just being nit picky.
The check out is easy, you can pay with cash or credit (tap payment option). First experience at this store is ok.
Taste: is it always...
