I came to Nina for my wedding dress alterations. I knew I could trust her as soon as we first met in her shop. She did an amazing job changing out the short sleeves of my dress to long sleeves with a yard of extra fabric I got from the designer. Other seamstresses said they needed more fabric, but Nina said it’d be easy! One week she had the prototype sleeves made with my extra lining, made notes for adjustments, and soon after, she had it all done! The sleeves were exactly what I envisioned and were so comfortable to be in. She also hemmed a few inches off and added a bustle, which held up with my heavy train. Delighted with the experience! we needed alteration on an Indian ladies dress for a big event and on urgent basis and Nina took care of it brilliantly! Had to go out of state next day and she altered it in few hours which included multiple alterations on the dress. She is very knowledgeable friendly and professional and suggested couple of things that actually made the dress much easy to wear. Racist! Beware! We tried to take our indian dresses to get it altered and she did do a good job. But she didnt even attempt to fix the lining even though we spoke about fixing it. Why would I want a dress altered and not the lining? When I asked her this she said “you people always dont want to spend money” and when I said I’d like my dresses back and paid her she kept belittling me.
