This laptop has a mind of it's own....when Kevin first formated the hard drive....it would not start back up....and that is the way I brought it back home (ruined...so I thought)....., I did some research on this model and discovered this was a known problem for others attempting to upgrade it's operating system. I following direction on a Youtube video and got it to start up.......I called Kevin and told him I figured out how to get the laptop to start up and that I believe he could once again try to install Windows 10. The next day....he called to let me know he did in fact get Windows 10 installed but said it still wasn't starting up every time like it should. I brought the laptop home and hit the start button and it booted up perfectly....without any problems....and it's been booting up without any problems ever since....it runs great.....I can not think Kevin enough for working with this nightmare of a computer.....he is a top notch computer...

Kevin is very personable, reasonable, fair, and honest. I found Kevin, and this shop, through an add on Craigslist and he was respectful and very quick to respond to address my needs. I bought a great refurbished PC (1TB, i5 processor) with monitor, at a very reasonable price and Kevin updated the graphics card at in order to meet my needs. The refurbished machine works great, the monitor was a little buggy and Kevin was quick to trouble shoot it and ulitmately replace it. He's a one man operation and does excellent work - I highly recommend him for computer repair and purchasing.

Edit 3 years later, Kevin is still amazing. His customer service is second to none, and he has incredible attention to detail. We've purchased multiple PC's and laptops from him And they are always of great quality. He's quick to diagnose and resolve a problem, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing to purchase a refurbished machine, or...

Just bought another laptop from Kevin at The Computer Resale Store in Brentwood. I have been going here for many years and have bought laptops, desktops, and additional screens here. I also had one of my laptop screens replaced here. With the recent storm and flooding, one of my desktops was acting funny so I brought it in for him to check out. Everything checked out okay. He was going to charge me so little that I insisted on paying him double because otherwise I felt like he was letting me take advantage of him as a repeat customer. I keep coming back because he has good equipment at very reasonable prices, answers all my questions, but mostly because he's just a nice person to do business with. 5 stars no question. I would highly recommend if you are looking for great value. I also like supporting small businesses as opposed to going Best Buy or MicroCenter in this case. Parking is also very convenient in...
