The Container Store — Local services in Brentwood

I personally love the container store, however walking into this store was super awkward to begin with. I had staff follow my son and I all over the store as if suspecting me as a theif. As any 1year old would, my son found a rolling object that I personally wanted to purchase and an elder employee in his 50’s named tony snatch the rolling object out of my sons hands and said “I’m taking this”. As I’m stunned and my 1.5 year old son is crying I ask the team to have respect for the families who walk in and confront and ask the parent to interfere. It is very disrespectful to go up to a child that is not yours as a grown adult and snatch an object out of their hands. This team was disrespectful and they hover over you making the experience very uncomfortable. I’d like to be clear that my son is very well behaved and for a 1.5 year old will, better than this man, hand over what is being asked for with no complaint. This rating is for the staff not the...

I cannot say thank you enough to all the employees that helped me at this location. Special shout-out to our designer Kelsey for helping to design a perfect closet for our difficult space. We have an old brick house with coved ceilings. While the closet footprint is large it was pretty useless. Kelsey spent a lot of time with me while we figured out measurements. I came back and made the purchase, booked the install, and pickup. The pickup was scheduled the night before the install so our house wouldn’t be filled with Elfa pieces for weeks. The guy that came to install it was nice, professional, and quick. Everything was easy and while it cost a pretty penny I’m so glad we opted for the high-quality system knowing it will last for a long time! I cannot recommend this store and it’s products enough! I really appreciate this store, the workers and especially the management. I have come in with requirements that were vague and this store worked with me...not a quick process, took more than one meeting (for me to figure out my need and supply necessary details so they could better help me). Yes, i had "idea" but needed help figuring out what was available that could work. Different than a big box store where you get pointed in the right direction but no detailed mapping/diagraming your idea. Through it all, they patiently helped me, designed it all out, modified the design (more than once)... I LOVE MY TWO UNITS!! One was a wall used for closet in a tiny bedroom in a 80+ year old house with no storage and one tiny kitchen needing more storage where I used a coal celler stairwell wall. Thank you Brentwood...
