I've been here before but today, 06/19/23, I must change my prior rating from 4 stars to ONE. I attempted to return a pair of shoes purchased 05/12/23 and was denied because the policy had changed from 45 days to 30 days. It is printed on the back receipt is a very light shade of gray, very difficult to read. The receipt has been in the same bag with the shoes, in an extra bedroom. The cashier, very nice, stayed I could get a gift card since it has been greater than 30 days. I declined because of the change in policy and how difficult it was to read the back of the receipt. She called a manager and stated he had discretion to override the policy. He came, I explained my issues with the change in policy and how difficult is to read the back of the receipt. His response was he will forward the concern about the receipt (like that will accomplish anything) and stated as far as the return policy, the store use to have a policy where nothing was returnable. I've have never known this store to have a no return policy in 15 years. If he truly has discretion and had allowed returns in the past, why was he discriminating against me? If he has never allowed, why did the cashier lie? Very disappointed in the new return policy, the inability of the store to allow exceptions. Can anyone give me a good reason to return here?
Nordstrom's responded to this post. They advise to check their return policy, I know what is now. Some help. They "apologize" but I still need to email them a copy of review, more of my time wasted. Nordstrom's is proving my time is of no concern.

Read moreI just wanted to say, you lost a sale today. I stood literally for 5-10 minutes at the counter in front of your sales worker. She was finishing up on someones order before me after they left. I get that she needs to finish up. She had to replace the tape, then she decides to do some other things. She knows I am standing there and not one time did she look up and address me. Just ignored me. Good customer service starts by looking at customers and saying, "I will be right with you." I am not in desperate need of attention but I thought it was ridiculous that I stood that long without her saying anything, looking up at me, or motioning that she had to take care of things. Read moreAlthough this is practically the only store that I can find a pair of nice shoes in my size, the store always seems to be messy and untidy, i.e. the shoe sizes are not always in the proper sections or aisles and not always in pairs. There was an older lady working in the ladies shoes area in the evening who was quite rude and disrespectful to us when we approached her about finding the matching shoe for the pair of shoes that we wanted to purchase. One shoe was missing from it's shoe box. When we asked her for help, she acted like she didn't want to be bothered and then pretended like she was going to assist us in looking for it, but disappeared and never came back to help or apologize.
