I am writing to express our deep frustration and disappointment regarding the ongoing delay in the issuance of a simple Sheetrock permit for one of our projects. We have been waiting over a month, despite the fact that zoning was approved a long time ago and all required documents have been submitted and accepted. Mr.. J has previously informed us that everything was in order. Yet, no permit has been released, and no further action has been taken on your end. Meanwhile, our customer—a resident of Bridgeport—is currently homeless, waiting to return to her home. It is heartbreaking and unacceptable that a local resident is being left in this situation while the department remains unresponsive.
This lack of urgency, communication, and basic empathy from the department is extremely concerning. Bridgeport residents deserve better. They deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion, especially in urgent housing matters like this one.
We urge you to take immediate action. Our customer cannot wait any longer.
Sincerely, Kelly Santiago jose JKJ Home...
