Went into this store a couple months ago. I was out of contract and was looking to upgrade and sign another 2 years or add my line onto my fiance's contract so we were under the same contract. The guy that helped us was rude, didn't answer my questions and kept trying to sell me on something I didn't want. No matter how many times I was not interested in that he kept pushing it. He also told us we couldn't add my line onto my fiance's account because " you sir aren't eligible for an upgrade". We stated we understood he couldn't upgrade that's not what we wanted, we wanted to add a line and he said we weren't allowed to do that. Clearly he was looking to sell me on whatever he wanted to, not what I as the customer wanted and because of that we left. I ended up just cancelling my phone with Verizon and going with a different company because of the way we were treated and also the poor customer service I've had in the past with both in store and phone customer service agents. After having another store in Morgantown cancel my line I found out they never cancelled it and I had to call to figure that out. Read moreMy husband and I went up to Meadowbrook Mall's Verizon store to switch from Sprint the other day. The young man working was Brandon Parrish. The store wasn't swamped, but it was steady. While we waited our turn, we watched how Brandon interacted with each customer with such professionalism and was friendly, engaging and interested in what each person had to say.
When it was our turn, Brandon immediately asked how we were and how he could help us. He explained in detail what we would need to do, which plans were available and checked to see when we could get the devices we were wanting. Even though I was snarky toward what we had just been through with Sprint, he kept his professionalism, stayed so pleasant, and never let on a customer not pleased at all with his company's competitor had to make him puff up a bit. 😁, but he never let it show. He was the ultimate professional and seeing a man of his age being so mature, friendly with an older couple really stood out with us. This young man is going to go far regardless of what field he is in. I hope Verizon realizes the gem they have. We stopped that very evening at verizon to see what they had to offer and we were helped by Brandon Carroll. He was beyond helpful and very knowledgeable and polite to us as we asked every question imaginable about verizon and its products. We decided to think on it and checked around a couple other carriers and ultimately the service we got from Brandon won us over. When we went back there yesterday evening there was a handful of customers all walk in at the same time and he was all alone. Never once did he get flustered or frustrated with any of us and he even remembered everything we spoke to him about a week earlier. Anyone in management would be lucky to have this gentlemen on their staff!
