JCPenney — Local services in Brighton

it's been years since I was in a JC Pennys, but i saw a black Friday deal i wanted, so i ordered on line. it is an hours drive to get to the nearest store, which i was prepared to deal with, but i didnt expect picking up my 2 little items would add another 45 minutes to the trip. i was directed by email to go to jewelry to get my pickup, i waited while the one sales person at that counter waited on a customer making several jewelry purchases. the clerk then finally went to get my order but couldnt find it, more waiting while they found a manager, the manager then directed me to the checkout counter where i waited for a cashier to go find the order. Next time I'll just either buy elsewhere or pay...

I love this store! Every time I go shopping here, I am treated with respect and kindness. I brought my elderly mother in to shop the other day, and I walked up to the checkout counter to inquire about a coupon that was offered. The sweet young lady explained everything clearly and even went over to get a cart for us. As my mom and I walked around the store, another couple of employees asked if we needed anything. That's great customer service! I rated JCPenny a five because it has everything one would expect when visiting this location, from great parking for handicapped and non handicap people, including parking up front, entry into the build, and restrooms which accommodate everyone. The staff is quick to acknowledge everyone at the entrance and throughout the store. There is always great sales throughout the store, and great products which you can't always find other places. The location is easy access to I-76, and also hotels, restaurants, and clothing and specialty stores, as well as new housing going up all around.
