Would give this location 5 stars if it wasnât for the hostesses. Food was excellent and our waitress and the food runner were both great. I wouldnât be writing this if I wasnât a hostess for 5 years, but I feel itâs worth the value and knowledge for the manager/ownership especially if they want to keep business. Before we headed over, I made a reservation for 2 on google and it said 25-30 minutes. My husband at the time was on the phone with a hostess verifying that wait time and they assured us it was accurate, but that if we made a reservation on the website we would get priority upon check in. She said there still may be a small wait but it shouldnât be long. Unfortunately I didnât get a google email confirming my reservation, so instead, I just also made a reservation on the website and called the girls to cancel the reservation made on google and change our party from 2 to 4 and they said they took care of it. We arrived 40 minutes later, and when I went to check in I asked relatively how long our wait would be and she had told me another 35-40 minutes. I asked why and she said âWell there are other parties who made their reservation on the website who get priority and we have a lot of dirty tables that just need cleaned.â After informing her that I had made the reservation on their website but that they had changed it on their end, she looked confused and went back to explaining they have tables but theyâre just not cleaned and would try to get us seated as soon as possible. Now again, after working as a lead hostess for 5 years, I know that is not true and more of a way to buy themselves timeâyes you donât double seat waiters, however, there were multiple tables in the dining room wide open. One other either hostess or manager overheard our conversation and interrupted the hostess helping me and sat us immediately. It was just frustrating knowing how chaotic they were and unorganized. I genuinely felt bad for the other customers who didnât know any better and probably did wait an hour and a half or longer even after making a reservation ahead of time. It would be in the restaurants best interest to spend more time training the hostesses on getting tables sat and customer service otherwise they will lose business and very quickly especially with all the other restaurant options...
Read moreWe were so excited to come out to enjoy this new establishment and after this weekend we'll probably not be returning. After waiting for a while to receive the text that our table was ready we went to see where we were on the list only to find out we had been removed. So they quickly sat us at a table but when requesting a booth she stated, "Next time it'd be a good idea if you requested that before we sat you. That would make our lives so much easier " We only waited about 3 minutes before our waitress took our order. About 2 minutes later , just after our drinks got there, we already had our main corse. No bread, no Alfredo sauce, no salad, no soup. Main meal, just sitting there getting cold. So finally got our salad. We ordered ranch and got Italian. So she brought another salad with ranch on top of the Italian. After 5 times asking for the Alfredo sauce we had to have someone else bring it. When asking for refills of water, after 20 minutes of not being checked on, she only brought 1 water for 2 of us to share and never refilled our child's drink. I get it's new and they are working out kinks however we felt they were just rushing us out to get the next group in. We had planed a nice night out to enjoy together just to be pushed out the door so the next could come in. Not the way to treat...
Read moreA Wonderful Dining Experience at the New Olive Garden in Brighton
We recently visited the new Olive Garden in Brighton, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and impressively clean. The new staff is clearly hitting their stride, and it shows in every detail.
To start, the gnocchi soup was a highlightârich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The calamari was another standout: lightly breaded, tender, and cooked to perfection. And of course, it wouldnât be a trip to Olive Garden without their iconic breadsticksâfresh, warm, and just as addictive as always.
For our main course, the Stuffed Chicken Marsala was fantastic. The chicken was juicy, and the Marsala sauce was flavorful without being overpoweringâtruly a must-try dish.
What really elevated our experience, though, was our server, Sean. He was attentive, genuinely friendly, and brought a level of hospitality that made us feel right at home. Itâs clear he loves what he does, and it made all the difference.
Weâre already looking forward to coming backâand fingers crossed we get to sit with Sean again! If you havenât visited the Brighton location yet, itâs well worth the trip. Get on the...
