Let me take you through my Popeyes journey. I strolled in about 2:30 in the afternoon. It took one employee about two minutes to walk up to the register. Never got greeted with a hello, never got asked what I would like to have just stood there in front of me waiting for me to order. I ordered my food and sat down. Took quite a while, but I finally got my order. As I’m sitting there eating, all 3 of the employees came out from behind the counter and sat down in chairs and were sharing videos with each other, laughing and playing the videos as loud as they could. No one asked me if I needed anything and they were no more than 10 feet from me. The place was empty. Soda machine was broken. The entire time I was there (25 minutes) not a single customer came in. Not even to the drive up. The chicken was almost undercooked and the mashed potatoes had obviously been sitting there a while. When I Slid my apple pie out from the sleeve, something has been cooked to the top. It looked like a piece of wax paper that had stuck to it before they put it into the fryer. No biggie, I just peeled it off. But still.The plus side, the tables were clean and so was the bathroom. But seeing the employees on their phones and then going behind the counter to prepare and serve food without washing her hands was pretty gross. And the complete lack of customer service! No hello when I came in and no goodbye when I left. I mean, I was literally the only person in there. They could’ve said something to me. Read moreI'd give this location zero stars if I could. Tried going inside to order and both doors were locked not even close to closing time. I went through the drive thru and was able to place my order. The first thing I was told was that the only side they had available was Mac and Cheese. I don't know about anyone else but I don't go to Popeyes for Mac and Cheese. They managed to find 2 containers of Mac and Cheese and 1 container Red Beans and Rice. When I opened the container of Red Beans and Rice I about gagged. If you are familiar with the smell of beans that are going bad then you will recognize the smell. I tossed them in the garbage. At the drive thru window were what looked like a couple of teenagers in their pajamas. Not exactly a professional way to look at a restaurant. No receipt was given for my order and when I asked for one I was told they couldn't give any due to no paper for the register. When I questioned that they gave me the excuse that corporate wouldn't send them any. The reason why inside dining was closed was because it was just the two of them and the girl was new and wasn't sure how to do everything, in spite of the fact that looking through the drive thru window you could clearly see other people working in the back. I get these excuses and proceed to leave. As I'm leaving I started laughing. They gave me the excuse that they were alone but they had the door to the kitchen propped open with a garbage can. I Went in, I had drank my beverage and as i was going to chew on some ice there was a long hair attached to the side of the cup, the cup which i had not opened at all since leaving the restaurant . I had called and some little boy answered the phone not knowing what to do as he said none of the managers were around but that he would make sure they give me a call back. No call. So i call the next day and I speak to an assistant manager. I explained the situation to him and requested a refund as I am too far to make the drive back for them to remake the food which is the only option he gave me. I explained again and he was simply rude and unprofessional. He said “popeyes policy doesn’t allow refunds since it wasn’t the same day and it’s not in the the system”. Which is crazy because i had called asking for a refund the SAME DAY and nobody helped me. As the assistant manager was extremely rude I asked to speak to a higher up. He said she wasn’t available and that she would give me a call between 1-2 pm. Still no call. Everytime I call they ignore the situation and not even one person I spoke to yet had apologized about the situation because honestly that is DISGUSTING to be finding DNA in my food that i am eating.
