I live in Morris,IL and we have to drive to our nearest Marshall's. I am a major hello kitty fan. I drove to the store with my focus of hunting was hello kitty Christmas items for me and kitty friends. I was searching for the hard to find Hello Kitty Christmas blanket. The store is so big so beautifully filled and organized. I didn't find the blanket (of course) . I found the staff enjoying being there as I was hunting I was over hearing the employees and none of them were being rude , they didn't sound bored or over worked. It was honestly a joy to walk with the store so clean and fun to be in. I was all over the store and was able to find plenty of gifts for my friends ,my puppy, and myself. I love the beauty section, they have so much for your eyes. From eyelashes to eye shadows. Skin care and hair care is a go to for me.I picked up a night time serum for myself. I was able to find unique fun smile bright happy Christmas gifts. The check out people were happy to be there. They were not worn out and dragging. These people were happy when asking if you found everything okay. She noticed all the hello kitty I was buying. I like when people show an interest in my purchase. I am proud to say I love hello kitty and belong to a gift exchange hello kitty group. I left the store with two bags of amazing treasures. For someone who lives in a town where we have Walmart and R.P. store. This store is such a burst of joy as a treasure hunter of gifts to my friends ,puppy, and myself. Totally worth the drive...
Read moreI wish I could write a review for Marshall’s online store and how the customer service works for Marshall’s inside the store. I recently purchased luggage from Marshall’s online since I have a new job that I travel weekly. I received my package, and inside the box was marked luggage along with being charged for my luggage of over $75, but I received a Christmas candle instead. Today I went to my local Marshall’s since online customer service is closed. The manager on staff told me I could not receive a refund since the item I purchased on the receipt was not the same item that I was returning, even though the candle had the luggage barcode on it. I was told that I would have to contact customer service on Monday for online purchases, and hopefully they will be able to take the return. This is absolutely terrible customer service. Marshall’s should always be able to take back a product regardless if it was purchased online or in the store. It even had a section on the receipt with information for stores to take returns and look up purchase information. There is no reason that I should now be stuck with this $75 Christmas candle from Marshall’s, because of their carelessness when packing my order. I have been a customer for years, and I am not sure that I will continue to support a company that can’t value...

My family and I shopped at the Yorkville IL store on March 3, 2023 and received the absolute worst customer service experience from the Store Manager! Rude, explosive, racially profiling. I was paying and the cashier advised I could not use a particular discount, I states that was fine and not to worry about it. The manager inserter herself very rudely into the conversation I thanked her and stated I wasn't interested in the discount. She continued to berate me, and was extremely unprofessional. As a store manager I was very disappointed as a faithful customer to be treated with such hostility, disrespect and unprofessionalism. As I walked away to exit the store she continued to yell and tell me if you don't like the treatment call corporate and I didn't belong there. I live 10 min away from this location and would rather drive 35 minutes to another location then experience such unacceptable behavior from the manager or any employee...
