The Ice Cream Place — Restaurant in Bristol Township

I visited the Ice Cream Place a few times not too long ago and it left me blown away! Honestly, it was probably the best popsicles I had ever had. Their strawberry cheesecake ice cream was my favorite and they had such a variety of selections. I tried a Gansito one and it was so flavor and original. I never knew that someone could replicate a childhood memory into a dessert. They have nachos and other snacks as well and it was such a lovely, homey atmosphere. I remember having a hard time when I was visiting Illinois but just going in for some ice cream and actually speaking with the owners would change my whole day around. This was about two months ago and the atmosphere, the speaking with the owners, the happy vibes I experienced there still have an effect to me on this day! I think one of the owner’s name was Mr. Gomez or Perez? I can’t remember but he was interesting, sassy in a funny way, and it really felt like he cared about my situation. I think every time I visit Chicago, I’ll make sure to go out of my way, a one hour drive into the suburbs just to grab some ice cream, maybe a pop, and hopefully get the chance to speak with management again!...

I consider myself a bit of an ice cream connoisseur (self appointed for sure), and have to say this place was unbelievably delicious. They have a broad selection of homemade flavors and the quality ingredients were easy to taste. My pick today was a combination of peanut butter, coffee almond, and Ferrero Rocher (which was obnoxiously delicious)! I got an XL size that was so packed full and way more than I should have consumed in a single sitting. But, I crushed it…every last bite. I would seriously go out of my way to come back here. Recommend...

Just got an ice cream here. They have so many options, both in ice cream flavors and in the cones and bowls! I got one scoop of the Gansito flavored ice cream, which has sprinkles already in it! It was also HUGE for one scoop! The lady behind the counter was so nice too, she let me try a sample and let me look around before I ordered. I'll definitely bring my family here some time. Gotta fill out my new punch card after all, lol. Maybe when it isn't sprinkly outside we can sit on those cute...
